Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed 6 hours of automatic lessons with Mags, and my experience has been truly great! Mags is extremely helpful and kind, and is a great instructor especially if it’s your first driving experience. She explains the rules and road nuances in a clear way and cheers me up! Also, Darragh has been invaluable in helping me choose the right instructor and guiding me throughout the process to make it as smooth as possible for me. Looking forward to 6 more lessons and passing an exam! Thanks to the Airport Driving School!

Fantastic experience: My instructor, Tomislav, is really good. He is a very nice and patient teacher for someone like me who felt too old to learn how to drive. He is calm as an instructor which I think is an important trait when it comes to teaching someone how to drive. I recommended him to my friend who's planning to enroll in this driving school as well. I had an interim instructor, Carmel (who I had for a lesson), who was also good. Overall, the instructors are really superb, no wonder this driving school is recommended by a lot of people that I personally know.

Negative experience: I've done lessons with these for hgv, wouldn't recommend it, instructor I had said I was doing well and shouldn't be an issue with test, then done mock exam got another instructor and everything instructor 1 was telling me to do instructor 2 was marking me on I questioned this with both instuctors in room that they wrre telling me complete opposite of each other they hadnt got an answer for me. was brought on the same route for 3 of my lessons and another 1 on one of my lessons the morning of my test I was taken "the hardest route" which I was never brought before which I was questioned really did I not bring you this route before it's the one you need to know. was giving a quick run through and low and behold that's the one I got for test, airbag was leaking on cab which made the cab knock and bang was told if it's like that for test go little slower over bumps as if tester hears a bang he could mark you, took couple of weeks to fix from when I reported it

Fantastic experience: I'm extremely thankful to Airport Driving School for passing my EDT today at my 2nd attempt. After having >18 hour lessons to boost my confidence, 1 unsuccessful attempt followed by a long gap for my retest and practically no time left on my learners permit, I was not very optimistic about passing my 2nd attempt today. I'm a new mother who's just returned to work, and it's highly difficult to manage schedules between creche, vaccinations, work, sickness and driving lessons. However I had the chance of meeting Mags for a 1 hour practice lesson ahead of my test in Finglas and that changed everything. Mags was able to break down and explain to me my most important pain points in a highly relatable manner that simply clicked. I'd also like to thank my longer term instructor Chris, who was highly patient with me teaching me to drive from scratch all over again. And to Tomislav, who I took one lesson with and he gave me a new perspective on some of my most notorious challenges (eg: manoeuvering the break more smoothly). I would however give a special shout-out to Mags, who was able to cut all the noise for me on the most critical day and get to exactly what needed to be solved in a manner I could most easily understand. Not to forget the much needed motivation she gave me ahead of the exam. A big heartfelt thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have completed my EDT with Airport Driving School. Before that I never drove a car. My instructor Mags helped me a lot to boost my confidence. She pointed me to my mistake and also helped me correct them. She focused on how to be a safe driver on the road (which is how it should be) not on how I'll pass the exam.

Fantastic experience: I got back to learning to drive earlier this year. I got Jason Reed as an instructor and immediately connected with him, putting me at ease from the get go. He helped me regain my lost confidence quickly and was excellent in guiding me through the technical manouvers that killed mt confidence previously. His willingness to chat with me through the sessions meant I felt incredibly comfortable with him instructing me. I passed my test in the first attempt thanks to his 'mirror mirror signal' guidance among others. Cannot reccommend Jason enough to anyone starting to drive, it is worth the investment genuinely!

Negative experience: I just had my mock test with Owen. I chose ADS as they were the only place to have availability so close to my test on Thursday. I was giving an instructor called Owen. While he seemed nice at the start, I didn’t appreciate been called terrible because I stopped on a pedestrian crossing instead of going through a red light which he said I should have done. I’ve been doing some lessons with my husband in preparation for my test and he’s an excellent instructor and I feel (well did) good in my driving abilities but after todays lesson with Owen, he’s after really knocking my confidence and suggested I do another 4 hours of lessons (minimum) to pass my test. I will be doing another few lessons before my test but not with this company!

Fantastic experience: I took a mock test and a couple of lessons with Arthur ahead of my test. His tips were incredibly helpful and I passed my category B test in the first attempt. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I contacted Airport Driving school regarding BE license. I did enquire about using their van and trailer for test and was advised I would need to do lessons first and then when ready do a mock test and after that can look to book their van and trailer. That was fine and I can understand why. First lesson (2 hrs) I had with we will call instructor #1 and after the lesson advised me I didn't need any more lessons and I should book the mock test. Booked mock test, had a different instructor for that (again understand reason) and I failed mock test. One question I was asked by him regarding the engine was 'where is the power steering' which I couldn't point out on their van. Following this mock test this instructor we shall call instructor #2 recommended that I needed 6 more lessons. I had a 1hr lesson booked right after where I had instructor #3. Before we did the driving part of the lesson I asked him the questions instructor #2 asked, "where is the power steering" instructor #3 couldn't advise me, and also I asked him to run through the weight plate with me on the inside of the door and also trailer and he advised me that he didn't know the one that was on the van as it was different layout to what he was usually used to. After the 1 hr lesson with him he advised me he would recommend I get 2 more lessons. So after meeting 3 different instructors I was told I needed 0 more by the first, 6 more by the second and 2 more by the third. I spoke with the office the day after enquiring about the use of the van and Was told that I couldn't use it unless I did the 6 more lessons instructor 2 recommended. I felt this was a bit of a money grabbing stunt as along with the renting van for test would have been costing me roughly €600 more. Needless to say after my experience of the driving school, I went else where and sourced the use of a trailer and completed my test where I passed with only a couple of minor marks one of which was road signs. From my experience I wouldn't recommend Airport Driving School especially if going for something like BE license. Doing B license they may be different as you have to do you minimum anyway and they will get their money, but where there was no minimum lessons with BE I felt they were just trying to get as much out of me as they could.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Artur from ADS! He is patient, professional, and makes learning to drive stress-free. His instructions were always very clear and he was very calm all the time which helped me build confidence on the road. Thanks for a great experience!!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Mags of Airport Driving highly enough. She somehow managed to undo all my nervousness in record time and I have just passed my test on the first attempt thanks to her. She has a very calming and patient presence while still ensuring you are taught all of the necessary skills and are constantly improving. She is a fantastic instructor.

Positive experience: I had a really good experience with two instructors and a really bad experience with two other instructors who put me off before my test. it’s unfortunately luck of the draw with them and for the price it is not worth the risk if you don’t know what instructor you want

Fantastic experience: I recently booked Airport Driving School to complete six lessons for the Reduced EDT program. From the beginning, they provided exceptional and friendly service. My instructor, Mr. Tomislav, offered outstanding guidance throughout my lessons. He was extremely friendly and instrumental in helping me refine my driving skills. Additionally, he provided a comprehensive introduction and explanation of the test procedure. I highly recommend Airport Driving School for anyone looking to start their lessons, and I particularly endorse Mr. Tomislav as a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: As a person that was never fond of the thought of driving I have to say I really enjoyed it. After my twelve lessons I am really happy where I am at and I am confident with myself on the road, but I have to say it was all my driving instructor. Artur was very patient and an easy person to get along with while being an amazing teacher I definitely recommend him and this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I had a pretest lesson with ADS instructor Tara yesterday. This was my second lesson with Tara and I was very glad to see it was her I got for this lesson as i had my test straight after. She is very informative and professional and I started her lesson very nervous about the upcoming test. I went from having no confidence in passing to passing the test with just 2 marks which I am very happy with and I honestly think if not for Tara and her lesson and words of encouragement I would have failed the test. Can't recommend her enough if anybody is looking to book lessons.

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my driving test in Raheney after completing six lessons with Derek. Needless to say, I wouldn’t have passed if it weren’t for the outstanding instructions provided by Derek. He gave me really useful tips that really helped to improve my driving skills. He made the driving experience not only effective but also enjoyable. Many thanks Derek.

Negative experience: If you’re considering this company avoid Instruktor James ! He spent 70% of my lessons on his phone and on the end told me I need book more lessons total money grabbing scam + costs are much higher than others . Im glad I changed half way through to different company and experienced completely different approach and actually learned something and was able to pass my test on first time which I could never do with James as my instructor!!there are better alternatives for trucks in North Dublin .unfortunately I can’t name the private instructor I went to , because it would look suspicious.

Fantastic experience: Mr Bayon Petric was assigned to me for my pre-test and warm up session on the day of my test. He has a calm attitude that helped me stay composed prior to my test. He was very helpful with the instructions and also gave me confidence to drive as I would on my normal days and not to pressure my self as it was my test day. Thank you for your help Mr. Patric. I will definitely recommend you as an instructor to my friends and colleagues.

Fantastic experience: I have passed my driving test today 29th of October 2024 and would not have been possible without the dedicated staff at Airport Driving School and my ADI Aaron who’s attention to detail is second to none. Having had all my EDT lessons and a further 4hrs trying with a mock test before my driving test really helped me and I was able to make adjustments before the day. If you are looking for a driving school to teach you how to drive I would highly recommend them you will not be sorry.

Positive experience: My experience with this school has not been very positive. I completed my training and passed my test for categories C and BE on the first try, but it took me five attempts to pass the CE category. The instructor for categories C and BE was very knowledgeable, professional, and knew the rules of the road. However, during my training for the CE category, my instructor Jason instructed me to drive into the yellow box when making a left turn while waiting in traffic. When I followed this instruction during the test, the examiner obviously failed me for "Road markings" being on the yellow box while waiting in traffic. Throughout my training for the CE category, my instructor changed four times, leading to an additional four tests before I finally passed. After this experience, I recently took the test for category D but did not pass. Now, I am seeking another driving school. Would I label this as "Ireland's most successful driving school"? Unfortunately, no. Would I recommend this school? I would, but not all instructors are equally effective.

Fantastic experience: I passed my Catagory C licence today and my walk around test, thanks to Vincent from airport driving school in cork, this man is a legend and will have you well prepared for you test, A+ all the way if you want to pass first time then this is your man. Fantastic experience: Completed my first driving lesson with Mags today, had a really good experience. Mags was methiculate in articulating the processes of the basics of driving and I was able to actually drive a car today. I was delighted with myself. Got good feedback and felt really good after, looking forward to the next lesson. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience with Airport Driving School while trying to get my truck license. I took over five lessons, and every single one was rescheduled. I had a different instructor for each lesson, and none of them provided any useful feedback during the lesson — it felt more like renting a truck and having to figure everything out on my own. When I asked for feedback, all of the instructors reassured me that I was close to being ready, saying I would need just one more lesson. However, when I booked a mock exam, I was marked for numerous mistakes—mistakes that could have been corrected had the previous instructors provided proper guidance. They didn't even allow me to sit the actual exam, forcing me to cancel it the day before. This was a complete waste of time and money. It seems they just want to push you into taking as many lessons as possible, making you feel bad about your progress without offering constructive advice on how to improve. Steve, in particular, was very rude. While I stayed calm, I believe his remarks could have been taken much worse by someone else. Avoid this driving school at all costs. Update December 2024 I am glad to share that I passed my truck licence test on the first try with Nauka Jazdy School. In just 30 minutes with Kamil, I gained more valuable knowledge than during all my time at Airport Driving school. Kamil provides real-time feedback as you drive, allowing you to learn quickly and effectively. He focuses on building your confidence and ensuring you are safe on the road. Thanks to his exceptional teaching, I successfully passed my test on the first attempt. If you want to pass your exam efficiently and gain real skills in the process, I highly recommend booking with Nauka Jazdy school. However, if you’d rather waste your time and money, Airport Driving School is the way to go.

Fantastic experience: I am happy to say I passed my driving test on my first attempt thanks to Artur! He was my third driving instructor actually. I went through a different driving school and the first instructor had an SUV I didn’t feel comfortable driving and then I didn’t click with the teaching style of my second instructor. Artur was great in providing feedback but not making me feel dumb. I had my license in the US first and then learned again in Ireland. Artur helped me build the confidence I needed to pass and I would highly recommend him as a driving instructor. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this guys. They booked me for lessons even though I don't have a driver's license. The instructors were unmotivated and lacked effort in their teaching. On top of that, they canceled one of my classes without any notice and refused to refund me. I definitely do not recommend them.

Negative experience: Terrible service. I had one lesson and was told I was ready to book a test. I was told I could book a mock when I got the date for my test. When I went to book it they wouldn't reserve it without immediate payment. Then when I had the details ready they had already given the slot away. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I recently sat my rigid truck driving test and passed first time after taking lessons with Vincent in the airport driving school cork. I couldn’t recommend Vincent enough, he was helpful with every last detail and made sure I was completely prepared to pass the test first time. Thanks Vincent.

Fantastic experience: I am really happy getting trained by Margaret Walsh who was my Driving Instructor. I had driving licence back at home in India, but was out of touch with driving for a lot of years. I completed 6 lessons(reduced EDT), with Margaret on a car with automatic transmission. She was very calm, professional throughout the 6 lessons, correcting my mistakes, teaching me the different manuvers, and reacting to hazards etc. Not only did she focus on the mistakes, she also told me solutions and methods on how not to commit those mistakes again. Being an immigrant, a lot of local information about driving in Ireland is required and she really helped me with that. I really liked her emphasis on how to be a better driver in general, not just being hyper focused on the test.

Positive experience: Derek was a gentleman and I don’t think I would have passed my test without him! I did 3 2hr lesson with him to get to know the routes and to make sure I was doing everything I needed to do because it was 2 years since I last drove. 5 stars for Derek, 4 stars for ADS because of the price! Negative experience: Not sure where all good reviews come from. They only want money and nothing else, they milk you all the way, and the instructors are marking mistakes that are ridiculous just to book you for more lessons. The price is different every time, and when I expressed my frustration they suddenly lowered the price. Avoid, if you can.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the Airport Driving School. I passed my test yesterday after a pre-test mock lesson the day before my test with Derek Erskine. Derek helped me get focused and feel at ease for the test. If it wasn’t for Derek’s advice, I don’t think I would have felt calm on the day or brushed up on my mistakes to pass my test. Negative experience: I would not recommend this place at all . They wouldn't give me a quote without making a booking and told me they needed a card to proceed that I could cancel any time. When I decided not to do the lessons. They refused to refund me . They pushed and bullied me to make a "boooking" in order to get a quote and then stole my money because I changed my mind. Their sales team are thieves and liers , compleat scumbags ..AVOID AVOID AVOID

Fantastic experience: Just passed my driving test on my 5th attempt a couple of weeks ago and I would like to thank Bojan for the patience and the confidence he gave me when taking extra classes. He didn't let me go through to the next stage without making sure I was competent with my manoeuvres. ADS you have a great instructor in your hands!

Fantastic experience: I was so happy I went with airport school of motoring. The instructor I had, Baolin, was so professional and patient and paid extra attention to the areas I was struggling on and helped me pass my driving test first go. The school also provide different packages to suit your needs,I picked the eight lessons that also included a mock test. The instructors will let you know if you are test ready so you won't be wasting your time or money. I would highly recommend getting lessons with this school.

Positive experience: I recently passed my driving test, and my experience with Airport Driving School was a mixed bag. While the organisation itself left much to be desired in terms of support and overall friendliness, I am grateful for the instructors I had the chance to work with. Instructors: Artur and Mags Artur and Mags were exceptional teachers, each bringing their unique style and methodology to the lessons. Artur: His approach was structured and meticulous. He focused on building a strong foundation in driving basics and gradually introduced more complex manoeuvres. His patience and calm demeanor made even the most challenging lessons manageable. Mags: Mags had a more intuitive teaching style, providing real-time feedback and practical tips that were immediately applicable. Her ability to adapt to my learning pace and her encouraging attitude were invaluable, and I know I couldn’t have passed without her guidance. Both instructors were incredibly patient and supportive, which made a significant difference in my learning process. They were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my success. Despite the contrasting teaching styles, their commitment to helping me become a confident and safe driver was evident and much appreciated. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Airport Driving School was less than stellar. The administrative side of things was often disorganised, and interactions with the office staff were sometimes frustrating. Scheduling and rescheduling lessons could be a hassle, and there was a noticeable lack of support and customer service when it came to booking a car for the test. While I did not enjoy dealing with the Airport Driving School due to its administrative shortcomings, I cannot recommend Artur and Mags enough. They were the highlights of my experience and the key reasons I passed my driving test. If you’re considering Airport Driving School, I would suggest requesting Artur or Mags as your instructor—they are truly outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I’m very pleased to announce that I’ve passed my driving test at FIRST ATTEMPT in Finglas. Hurrayyy! First Attempt underlined. As someone who had never sat in front of the steering wheel prior to starting my lessons, I couldn’t imagine myself passing at the first try but for the patience, professionalism, experience and good sense of humour of ARTUR of Airport Driving School, I did it in style. He drove to my house in the morning before the test, escorted me to the test centre and gave me all the morale I needed and that did the magic. Fantastic experience: I just passed my drivers test on my first attempt and have to give massive praise to my instructor Artur. Artur was professional, positive, patient and clear with his instruction. There were no surprises during the actual test because Artur was extremely thorough without being overwhelming. Negative experience: I had worst experience with them. Their main office staff is very rude and instructors are also least bothered to prepare the candidate for passing the test. All what they care about is money and don’t even show any flexibility to accommodate their own students if they have to schedule car hire for the test day. I would never recommend Airport Driving School to anyone else. Its much better to take lessons from a driving school run by the registered owners as such instructors do every effort to make sure their students are well prepared to pass the test.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of my driving instructor, Mags. From the very beginning, her patience and expertise were evident. Mags created a relaxed and supportive learning environment, making even the most anxious learner feel at ease. Mags was instrumental in helping me build the confidence and skills needed to pass my driving test. Her clear explanations and constructive feedback were invaluable. But her support didn't end there: after passing my driving test, I scheduled another lesson with her to help me conquer my fear of the motorway, transforming me into a confident driver all the way. I wholeheartedly recommend Mags to anyone seeking a driving instructor who is not only skilled but also genuinely cares about their students' success.

Fantastic experience: When I began my 12 EDT lessons with Airport Driving School I had no prior driving experience, but through just twelve lessons I feel like a much more confident driver in anticipation of my test. Hiwa is an absolutely incredible driving instructor and I feel very lucky to have had him for all my lessons. His knowledgeable and professional style of teaching, with proper diagrams and by the books approach made the theory very accessible and straight forward. And I feel very happy with my driving habits when operating the vehicle as he was able to calmly indicate to me the correct approach every time. With such a wonderful, knowledgeable and professional instructor I can't recommend ADS enough. They are also very quick to respond over the phone and receptive to students requests and needs: 5 stars ★★★★★!

Negative experience: Obviously no regard for cyclists allowing learner drivers to close pass cyclists. There a 1.5 meter close pass law, which the instructor chose to ignore today (Friday 2:45 pm Gormanston). It would be interesting if the candidate failed a test due to this omission. Fantastic experience: Having had some very mixed experiences with different instructors (both with the ADS and outside), I was very pleased with all my lessons with Tang! He was knowledgeable, patient and supportive and I would definitely recommend lessons with him for anyone preparing for their test!

Artur's great driving skills and endlessly welcoming personality make even the most challenging processes easy, and the learning comfortable. He was patient, friendly and extremely professional every minute of the lesson. Artur is great at both explaining the theory and sharing the essential best practices by example, it's very noticeable when the instructor is this passionate about teaching and genuinely interested in student's success. Fantastic experience: One of best driving school in Ireland. I had taken my Reduced EDT class with Arthur from airport driving school. He is very professional and polite. Great knowledge on the rules and how to drive in ireland. He taught me well on those 6 classes and i am very happy on the classes. Fantastic experience: Did a pre test with Brendan for Cat. A motorbike a week out from my test and passed first time. He gave great advice letting me know a couple of things to practice before the test and brought me along some of the Mulhuddart routes to familiarize myself and avoid getting caught out on the day. Definitely worth while doing the pre test lesson.

Fantastic experience: Finished my IBT with Mark not too long ago. Honestly, I would absolutely airport driving school for anyone considering on doing their Initial Basic Training. I was doing my IBT for my A2 licence, and although I didn't pick it up straight away, Mark was patient and helped me become more confident on the many bikes they have. The thing that separates ADS from other driving schools, is that unlike other places, Mark teaches not only how to complete the IBT but teaches safe riding practice for even after the course, to ensure that as many people as possible can stay safe. I would strongly recommend anyone considering on doing their IBT to jump right in and make sure to ask for Mark. What he is doing now with Airport Driving School is undoubtedly saving lives.
