She is patient, kind, and professional, making every lesson seem less daunting and a very positive experience. Maeve has a remarkable ability to explain things clearly and calmly, ensuring you feel confident at all times. She tailored each lesson to my individual weaknesses, and always gave constructive feedback and encouragement in each area. With Maeve’s guidance, I made progress faster than I ever thought possible, and I can honestly say she is the best instructor I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few!). I still can’t believe I passed on my first attempt and it is all due to my lessons with Maeve. If you’re looking for someone who will help you become a safe and confident driver while making the learning process enjoyable, there is no one I could recommend more highly than Maeve Fitzgerald. As somebody in my late 30s with limited driving experience Eddie's knowledge, experience and patience was invaluable to passing my test...He provided sound advice and expert overviews of the routes, the marking process and what to expect on day of the test. Fantastic experience: I took many lessons with various instructors in my two years learning how to drive. Hilda was the only instructor that made me feel at ease and confident even on my lowest days as driving was a very challenging experience for me. Her daughter Maeve who's also a driving instructor kindly sat with me on her own time to give me extra practice on the run up to my test. I passed my test on my first go and I couldn't have done it without their help. Fantastic experience: Embarrassing Story - I got my first provisional license nearly 20 years ago. Sat my test about 18 years ago, failed, and never sat it again the anxiety only got worse and as the years passed I became even less inclined to sit it again. I eventually got sick of booking the test ONLY to be able to renew my license year after year and decided to cop on. I really wasn’t a bad driver but anxiety was through the roof at the thought of sitting the test. I messaged Ed and explained my story and agreed to have a few lessons before my test. Ed was AMAZING, put me at ease almost instantly, was so reassuring and so funny I actually looked forward to my lessons. He talked me through everything step by step and explained everything so the fear was minute walking into the test centre today. I passed, messaged Ed and he rang sounding even more thrilled than I was myself. Thanks so much, what a massive relief and a huge delight.
