Fantastic experience: I did my IBT here not too long ago and definitly will be back for lessons before my test. My instrictor was Christy and i could not recommend him more, made learning fun with his decades of experience and never ran out of funny stories to tell. When it came to the road test he kept a close eye on me making sure i was safe and giving me tips to improve my riding.

Regardless of your experience or skill level, you’ll certainly go home feeling you’ve learnt something new. Of course, do some initial research, ask other riders, and check forums to help with your decision. But I can guarantee you that this school will come up more than once and for good reason.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant, professional, but fun environment where safety is first and foremost. All of the instructors really seem to know their stuff. Mark was brilliant, he spotted any little issues that you might have been having with your riding from across the yard and teaches you to think through how to fix them yourself to make you a better rider when you're no longer under instruction.

Fantastic experience: Did my IBT with Christie, an absolute gent and a fantastic instructor - I cannot recommend enough. I'd never been on a proper motorbike before, and I was amazed at how much I learnt over the course of the training. Fantastic experience: The best experience, adaptive learning and procedure-wise, hands down! Thank you Mr Colm Flynn! On my first day of IBT, Colm introduced me to the basics of disciplined motorcycle theory and manoeuvres. Given that over the hours put during the day, humbly put, I had progressed quite rapidly given my past riding experience. Mr Colm, with positive intentions and letting me know, made the course, Slalom and Figure-8s more and more difficult for me, adapting me to perfect my discipline and skills. It was great to be challenged at this level and him taking care to train me meticulously, knowing that the next day is a road ride! The next day, Colm guided me with diligence, him leading the pack first and ensuring I learn by observing and then me leading next after a while. Colm, a skilled driver and an even better teacher (he is amazing both!), he observed even the most minor of my mistakes I made and chiselled me to get them right. If I didn't get it correct, we re-did that ride sequence until I had it correct. As we know as a rider, one small mistake is a big difference! Overall, it was a brilliant experience to learn from the best of who can teach you, and I highly recommend Airport Driving School Motorcycle Division, Bishopswood The Ward, for your IBT and motorcycle skill perfection, onwards! 5 stars to you and Airport Driving School, Mr Colm!

Fantastic experience: Great place for beginners. Thanks to Brendan and Mark for the well paced lessons . It's great how the lessons are arranged and how we gradually go up to powerful bikes. The day of the road sessions is great craic. You'll love motorbikes even more after those session. Recommended!!

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend Brendan and Mark for IBT training. There was a lot to cover but Brendan and Mark made it an enjoyable experience. By the end of the training I felt comfortable and confident on the road having gone from a complete beginner on day one.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my IBT with Chris and can’t put into words how brilliant he is. Absolute gentleman and knowledge/instruction is second to none. Training and theory was fun but also deadly serious when it mattered. I have no doubt that Chris does this job because of his passion for keeping people safe on the bike both during lessons and into their future riding. Can’t wait to do a few more lessons to prep for my test.

Fantastic experience: Did my ibt here with Christopher. First day was spent in the yard on multiple bikes, and the second day was out on the roads. Christopher is great at giving clear instructions and calming nerves. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to Brendan, Mark, Colm and Christy for my pass in my A2 automatic motorcycle. I really enjoyed the IBT and the subsequent 2 hour lessons and mock tests. The instructors were very focused on pointing out all the details which have to be mastered to pass the test. I only had experience from a frew scooter rentals on holidays before signing up. IBT March 2023 Did 6 or 7 additional 2 hour lessons Abandoned 1st test (lost the tester on a roundabout!) Passed 1st test March 2024

Fantastic experience: the best motorcycle training anyone could ask for, its clear that the guys really care about making sure you're safe and competent on the road. if you're looking to do your IBT and you're considering this one, then go to them!

Fantastic experience: I did my IBT back in June with ADS which was an excellent experience. My instructor for the IBT was Colm and he gave me very useful insights into responsible riding. Once I got the date for my final test, I booked a few sessions for practice with Colm, Brendan and Mark at ADS and all of them helped me clear my final test at the first attempt. I am very grateful to all the instructors at ADS and would strongly recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Everything from initially booking the lessons right through to completing the motorcycle IBT course was excellent. Thankfully I passed the IBT and then had a couple more lessons with Colm the Instructor as well as getting plenty of practice in myself. I sat my test as soon as I could and passed first time, not just a pass, but a very good pass where the examiner complemented me on my control of the motorcycle, that says it all really. The skills I learned from Colm really paid off. I couldn’t have done it without Colm’s help. He’s a great instructor in a great school and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Airport Driving School to anyone looking for top notch professional motorcycle training.

Fantastic experience: The IBT was thought out well and concise, it was in a closed in area which gave a safe environment for first time riders. There was a good selection of bikes that were all up to good quality and all gear is provided if you don't have any yourself. Did the pretest twice with them and passed my test first time, I really appreciate the support and knowledge shared by the instructors, particularly Brendon.

Fantastic experience: I have just successfully completed my very first IBT training this weekend. It was my first time to ride any form of motorcycle, so I started on a small automatic scooter (50cc I think) and by the end of the first day Brendan had successfully transitioned me up to a Kawasaki 650cc. Brendan was an exceptional instructor, incredibly relaxed and friendly and made the whole weekend as enjoyable as it could be, as I was a fairly nervous student. He is so non reactive and plays to peoples strengths knowing how to encourage you a long. I was walking on air when I received my certificate of competence!!! We had a fabulous ride out on day two, riding to Skerries and back, where Brendan put us through all the different scenarios that one is likely to come across on any ride-out. We did a nice coffee stop in Skerries itself, which fuelled us nicely for the return journey back to the training centre. I couldn't recommend the Airport Driving School Motorcycle highly enough to anyone considering doing their IBT. The team are so accommodating to everyone and have an enormous amount of training behind them. Thank you Brendan for sharing your wealth of knowledge and skills and passing on all the essential tips etc. regarding motorbikes and relevant equipment.

Fantastic experience: Started my motorbike journey a year ago with my IBT. I did 2 extra classes to practice and I passed my test 1st try with very high marks! I highly recommend picking ADS as the instructors are friendly, passionate about motorbikes and fantastic teachers. Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Had an extremely positive experience over 2 days completing the IBT. I had Mark as an instructor. Remarkably patient and an encyclopaedia of knowledge about bikes, gear, and riding. All instructors here are very friendly and they keep the experience light and fun; reducing stress where possible. Would recommend Airport Driving School wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: Gave me the best possible biking experience as a first time rider I could get, even my lack of confidence on them didn't stop them from teaching me to ride a 650cc bike on the final day of training. Great experience and great people all around, I'll be back with them to train myself again before my drivers test for certain.

Fantastic experience: Went up there to get my IBT with Christopher and Colm. Never drove a manual bike before to the next day driving around all of North Co. Dublin and having class craic doing it. The lads up there are dead on and they'll get you going in no time. They give you all the gear so you're not spending a fortune on your own stuff for beginning and they'll give you x4 different types of bikes to see yourself progress throughout the day. 100% would recommend to anyone who wants to get through their test.

Fantastic experience: After failing twice, I passed with only one mistake. I had a few lessons with Pat, amazing instructor. Pat was really patient and made me fell comfortable and confident, it was really helpful to control my anxiety. Strong recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very thorough training which may save your life. A.D.S. was the only school that I found that also had automatic scooters to train on. I was upgrading my licence from an A to A2 (restricted to automatic licence) and struggled to find a school that could accommodate me. Apart from all that, both instructors I had were thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly but firm. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: Amazing quality service, highly informative and completely prepares you for everything you need to know about riding a bike. Any hasitations I had about getting on a bike were gone within 10 minutes of yard training. My instructor Colms approached fit very well with how I like to learn, I felt like I was trusted on the bike from the very start, and I was allowed to experiment and learn by doing, with small corrections being given gradually. Lead to a very natural and easy learning curve. Would highly recommend !!

Fantastic experience: 100% No Doubt. I’ll repeat. If you are still wondering, this is the school you are looking for. Excellent experience with Mark (my instructor) and the School. I got my learner permit (motorcycle) a year ago and looking forward to going for the full driving licence as soon as Covid situation improves. Mark and Brandon are excellent instructors, very committed with the student and real Masters on their teaching delivery. They don’t just teach you through the playbook and manual, ensuring to coger all the essentials, but also from their experience and passion, which makes the learning experience highly valuable! The premises are comfortable and have good communication to go with public transport (I used to go from Dublin C.Centre). All the equipment provided and motorbikes are in great shape and is enjoyable to use it. Definitely 100% recommendation if you want to learn great driving skills, enjoying whilst doing it, and being surrounded by excellent people. Price also good and competitive!

By the end of the 2 days training course we wen't out on a 130km round trip on 650cc bikes!!! Having never ridden a motorboke 48 hours before!!!!! Amazing experience and would 100% recommend doing your IBT training with Brendan at Airport Driving School Bishopswood.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my full 2 day IBT with Chris and it was fantastic. I could not recommend it more. Chris is a really, really good teacher - I learned so much and feel safe and confident on the bike. He took my learning very seriously but we still had a fun, relaxed time so I was able to retain everything better. Also, the bikes are high quality!

Fantastic experience: I went from having never been on a motorcycle or driven a car. I did my Ibt up here as well as a few extra lessons a few months afterwards and passed my a2 test first try. The lads are brilliant at what they do and are sound as well. You know your in good hands. I had Colm as my instructor and he was excellent, I still had his voice ringing in my ear telling me how I was messing up after the lessons were done while I was on my own bike. I also had Brendan and Mark who were excellent as well. I can't recommend everyone enough theyre brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Did 2 hours mock test with Nigel Stephens today and it was the best driving lessons I have had so far! Nigel was extremely friendly, made me feel really comfortable and gave me informations that I haven’t heard before from others practical driving lessons. I wish I had done more lessons with him! Fantastic experience: Did my IBT with instructor Brendan Ebbs over the weekend. Brendan was a fantastic instructor and he was very patient with a me (a first time biker). Brendan gets you on the bike quickly and his instructions are easy to follow and he is a great communicator. The classroom part of the course was very easy to follow and it gave a great appreciation of the kind of gear you need and the importance of safety. Great company, great instructor, I would highly recommend both.

Fantastic experience: When I decided to do my IBT for motorcycle I went to Airport Driving school. I was certainly glad I did because I got expert tuition and guidance from an obviously highly qualified instructor called Christie Drew. Needless to say I passed the IBT after two days. Fantastic experience: Fantastic few days completing my IBT training with Airport Driving school. Their large on-site motorbike training grounds in Bishopswood is a fantastic advantage for new riders. It allows IBT candidates a chance to get comfortable with their bike before hitting the road. Christy was my instructor and has over 40 years of riding experience. Very honest and friendly guy and will make you a very safe and confident motorcycle rider. These guys do it for the love of motorcycling and to keep people safe. Would highly recommend to anyone trying to get an A1, A2 or A license

Fantastic experience: Went here as recommended by a friend and I'd like to pass on that recommendation. I completed the 2 day IBT with Mark and I learned everything I need to know to get going on my own bike. The instructors have so much knowledge and experience (really sound too), and they have a load of different bikes there to work with. Honestly can't believe how quickly I went from 'learning how to turn the engine on' to driving out in the real world.

Positive experience: Brandon the instructor was fantastic. They have a wide range of bikes to pick one that fits you. Try getting a one On one session if you can. Esp. On the ride out of the compound as it can get very confusing on the radio as I experienced. In all very good training.

Fantastic experience: Did my IBT 6 months ago when I got my learner and a week ago did my pre-test lessons with Mark. His level of knowledge was fantastic - he explained me all aspects of bikes, gear, helmets and biking experiences in detail, showed all the spots that the examiner can bring you and showed me how to ride a bike properly without any mistake what helped me to pass my riding test in first attempt, as well as being a great person to comunicate and have chat. I appreciated Mark explaining why the rules of the road for motorbikes are the way they are, and showing me exactly where I was going wrong what could I improve and get better, any question I had regards to riding he had the answer on the tip of his tongue. On top on that, all the instructors at the school were great guys, which made the environment comfortable to be.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience training with Mark. Excellent instruction, goes above and beyond basic tuition - genuinely prepares students to ride safely. In any business the personal touch is priceless & Mark is simply class. Top gear - Mark's two way comms are fantastic, allowing him to very precisely instruct and correct out on the open road. Always candid, yet constructive, punctual and well organised. The only negative of passing the test is an end to a truly thrilling experience. Fantastic experience: I just completed A2 modules of my IBT training with Brendan. Great instructor who gave me as much time as I needed and taught me the key to safety. Also he was patient with me who struggle with english. All that in a very friendly atmosphere! Also the choice in the roads we rided was great, nice landscapes. The guys explained everything in a clear and easy to understand manner. I would recommend them to anybody. Who would have believed that I would have been out on the road on a 600cc Honda. Got their combined wisdom of circa 70years motorbike riding. Hoped to get the confidence to drive a small motorbike - came out ready and confident to buy my first bike at 650cc. Great, great instructor who gave me as much time as I needed and taught me key safety details about road positioning, cornering, and much more. And a very friendly atmosphere! They are patient, very knowledgeable, skilled and have a genuine interest in the safety of their students. Fantastic experience: Colm was my instructor. I had zero experience on a motorcycle prior to coming here. With Colm's patience and understanding what I needed to focus on I passed my IBT in 2 days. I went from knowing nothing on how to operate a Motorcycle to being bring able to drive a 650cc. I couldn't recommend the school enough and I trust anyone who goes here that if they pass they will know how to be safe on the road.

Fantastic experience: Had my ibt yesterday, trained with Colm. This is absolutely essential training, I learned so much even though had previous experience on bikes before. A very intense two days but definitely came away a better and far more conscientious motorcyclist. Would highly recommend this driving school to any prospective pilots out there. A+++. Fantastic experience: Just finished my ibt with the help of a great man Chris Drew, would highly recommend going todo the ibt with the airport driving school and could not recommend chris enough from the very start from when you arrive you are made to feel welcome and comfortable . His instructions are precise and simplified so it makes it alot easier to pick up the skills and break any nerves you have fast , any time a mistake was made he would not just tell me but actually show me where,how,and why you made that mistake and how to quickly adjust to fix it. I did two 9 hour days and had an absolute blast and great craic throughout the whole training . I would recommend asking for 1on1 sessions as it makes it alot easier and i will definitely be returning for my pre test lessons.

Fantastic experience: I was totally stoked to get my IBT cert after the school’s two day training programme. I was surprised initially by how much it cost but after completing the course I can say with absolutely certainty that it was worth every penny. The instructors are incredible. Mark and Christy took me through the course and I can’t praise or thank them enough. Are they men or are they part man part bike?! Despite the fact that I wish I’d done this level of training years ago I’m inspired so much by the experience for the future. Many thanks to all at the school. Top of the bus!

Fantastic experience: Just finished the IBT here. Of all the places I had initially contacted, the customer service here were the most efficient and proactive. I had Instructor Mark assigned to me and had an extremely good experience overall throughout the 2 days. Although I had previous riding experience outside of Ireland/EU, the guys pointed out some of the bad habits I had and I was able to learn the proper techniques. My only constructive criticism would be that the PPE provided, esp Jackets and Trousers could use a refresh as they felt old and worn out. So I'd recommend bringing your own gear if you have em.

Fantastic experience: I had my IBT with Mark Coleman and Colm was doing Two other students IBT from the offset the lads where great there knowledge and patience with all of us was incredible we had 4 different levels of people doing the coarse and by the end of the first session they had everyone comfortable on bikes some of which had never driven before it was amazing to see . 10/10 sound lads and they want you to learn how to drive a bike properly and keep you safe well worth every penny .

Fantastic experience: Just completed the IBT training with Mark, Brendan & Christy. As a 44 year old tall fella with a very distant memory of riding as a teenager this was a fair ould challenge for Mark. From the outset I felt entirely comfortable and at ease within their company. The extensive introduction into PPE and bike controls gave an insight into how serious and professional they were and I was hooked from there. The bike work instructions and confidence building was excellent, I know I have more to do but with this level of hands on and attentive training I have the foundations to begin.They certainly won't be long in telling you if you're loosing the run of yourself! Will be back with them in the Autumn to see how my skill are progressing which I am already looking forward to! Great job by great instructors and some of the most genuine and sound men you could meet which for me is pretty much as important as the training they provide.Absolute respect

Fantastic experience: Had a great time learning from Brendan and Mark. They've got a wealth of knowledge and experience and it was fantastic doing my IBT with them. Got to go for a lovely spin and learnt a great deal too! Definitely would recommend to anyone doing their IBT to drop them a call.

Fantastic experience: I did my IBT in the Airport Driving School with Colm. I could not recommend the school or Colm highly enough. I was a total beginner on a manual bike. A good instructor will make all the difference. Colm is a great instructor, patient but still pushes you to get there, understanding but firm in his instructions. He cares about getting you safely out on road. He is absolutely fantastic at explaining things, and when you go wrong you will know why and how to fix it. While there I saw the other instructors at work and they were also fantastic. They are a brilliant team and if you want to pass your IBT or driving test you should pick the best and these guys are the best. Thank you Colm and Airport Driving School. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the Airport Driving School. I did. a two hour refresher Motorbike course with Brendan. He was a top class instructor, seriously knowledgeable and a great manner. I learnt and enormous amount from him. Many Thanks Brendan.

Negative experience: Beware People They will take money In advance But Wont give lesson for for the time you paid. Also You will never Get Money Back What ever Happend to you, Before Pay Pls Think

Fantastic experience: Now that the adrenaline has returned to normal levels it's time to share my experience Colm was my motorbike instructor and to say he has the patience of a saint is an understatement. I had done my IBT, my lessons and my pre test with him and he's a brilliant instructor. He never let's you get ahead of yourself and his voice in your ear is always forthright and calm (even when you don't "lifesave" again for the 100th time) and encourages as well as corrective. Anyway my pretest nearly ended with me parking the bike in a hedge (in frustration) and walking away. A few well spoken and well placed words from Colm soon had me back on track. Suffice to say I went and done my test and PASSED. I danced out of the test centre and was met by Colm who I will be grateful to for his help. So if you need motorbike instruction get over to Airport School of Motoring and book your lessons.

Fantastic experience: I did my IBT here with Mark. He is a great instructor, very knowledgeable in all aspects of biking, how to get good bike gear without breaking the bank was especially helpful. They had a good range of decent bikes to suit the rider. I felt a lot more confident after doing my IBT with Mark in what bike would suit me and how to ride safe. I applied for my test and passed it after doing a quick refresher with Christy. These guys know there stuff and I was very happy I chose this school. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I done my IBT lessons with airport driving school, I was lucky to get Mark as my instructor, from the first day he was so helpful he is an excellent instructor and gave me the confidence I needed to be able to ride a motorbike. When my test date was coming up I booked in for another lesson to get me back up to scratch and of course booked in with Mark I couldn't recommend him more, he was fantastic and I passed my full category A test first time thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: Great experience doing IBT and pre-test lessons with Mark. His level of knowledge was fantastic - he can explain the ins and outs of all aspects of bikes, gear, helmets and biking experiences in detail, as well as being a great instructor. I appreciated Mark explaining why the rules of the road for motorbikes are the way they are, and showing me exactly where I was going wrong. Delighted to say I managed a first-time pass after IBT and pre-test lessons. On top on that, the lads at the school were great craic, which made the lessons really enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Did my IBT training with Mark. Great classroom tuition, excellent source material. The practical side on the bikes was taken very seriously but at all times making sure the student was relaxed and comfortable. I cannot recommend these Guys enough. I will be doing my pre test with Airport driving school once things open back up again.

Fantastic experience: I’m really glad I chose this school to take my motor bike lessons. They have a fantastic knowledgeable and friendly team of instructors. My instructor was Mark and he is simply amazing. He made sure till the end that I am going out with all the necessary and critical information one needs for riding a motorbike, not to mention the various tips that he shared that only an experienced rider can know about. 5 stars to Mark and the driving school for the excellent facilities as well.

Fantastic experience: Great 2-day bike IBT course. Though I'd been riding a couple of years self-taught the instructor (Mark) identified some bad habits I had'nt realised. Recommended.

Negative experience: From day one felt off as was getting told how so many people don't be happy needing extra lessions if you just do what your are told you will move on fast but I did have and take me time getting the clutch right on the motobile but once I did I felt I was moving well but when spend near whole day just doing the same thing over and over it gets tireing on a hot day and when I wanted to move on I wouod make a little mistake just of of fatigue waa told do yoy really think yoy are ready for the road went on how safety important going around in circle's for hours kept nect day did get loada work in and them went to same again and told won't be ready for last day for the road so back over again and again in total spent 890 last I remember and still dodnt leave the yard I was told after adding more days that nect rime if be on the road and just little bit of class room and that wouod be me done once all went well that again didn't happen so when I was ment to book again I left it off as family and that to take care of I asked for my book to be posted and wqs told sure you only completed mod 1 I was doing parts from each modules to I taugh I was near done last to do but nope the ibt went done how it was ment to be done left me missing small parts from each module so non but one wqs fully completed so may as well bin the book and start again with a different company full on scam so much money to go in circles for days horrible feeling when it was a long dream to get a bike and now with all the covid no clue when get the chance to do lessiona agaon

Fantastic experience: Thanks Airport Driving School and instructor Mark Coleman at Bishop Wood motorcycle training facilities .It was August of 2019 when I spent 2 days on IBT for motorcyclist .I was already over 50 years old at that time had no experience of driving motorbike ( category A) , no motorcycle , no protective gear , etc. Just wish to go through the process quickly and smoothly as possible .And I received that . Mark provided everything : material you had to know , step by step practice classes driving a motorcycle ; equipment .And I did it - passed the test .Thanks a lot for that and good luck for the school and it's workers .

Fantastic experience: Getting on a bike is one of the best decisions I've made and going to Mark to do the IBT was also a great decision ,Mark makes sure that if you pass the IBT under his instruction you can be assured your ready for the road ..
