Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today, on the first try and with only one mark and that is all thanks to Fergus at Lucan Driving Academy. Before driving with Fergus I had a very bad experience with a previous driving school and I was left with no confidence, to a point where I believed driving was not for me. Fergus absolutely changed my mind and gave me all my confidence back. He is extremely calm and he would always take time to stop and explain and most importantly make sure that you understand. Fantastic experience: I think Fergus has a teaching technique that perfectly balances giving you enough information and letting you put it to use in practice. If you're nervous about driving, he's a great instructor. Very calm and put together. I did an entire 12 lessons with a different instructor and couldn't even drive. After only 5 months with Fergus I passed my test (considering the waiting lists and backlogs I think that's pretty fantastic). Would recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: I had only 3 week notice before my test and had not driven in a while. Fergus was very accommodating being able to fit in a number of refresher lessons on short notice. I found him to be very straightforward and helpful. He was good at keeping stress levels down and keeping me at ease coming up to the test and thanks to his help I passed my test!

Fantastic experience: I had done my test a couple of times before meeting Fergus but always struggled with nerves. He completely transformed my driving and immediately identified the bad habits I had picked up over the years. He is an excellent communicator and everything he says is very logical. Great for visual learners too as he shows diagrams for each situation. I lacked confidence during my previous driving tests but he really built it up again and I passed the test! Fantastic experience: Would highly reccomend! And bang for your buck. I spent a lot of money on the bigger schools, but felt it wasn't enough. In comparison to the bigger schools, Fergus was a lot more i depth in his attention to detail, helped me with some bad habits which I picked up on and with only 3 lessons in, I ended up passing my test. Fantastic experience: I had just moved from the Caribbean to Ireland and I needed to get my Irish driving licence, so after loads of searches and going through pages of reviews I found Fergus. On the 27th of February I started my driving lessons with Fergus. Coming from the small Caribbean island of Tobago with a population of only 63,000 people, it was no doubt that learning to drive in Ireland would be a task. But Fergus was precise, patient and professional. Six months after I passed my Irish driving test on the first try and given that they are extremely strict, that's really impressive! I highly recommend Fergus.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my wife arrived back in Ireland last year and the first person we called for driving lessons was Fergus due to the great reviews that we noticed on Google. I'm pleased to say that the reviews were spot on because Fergus is such a good instructor that I passed my driving test last Wednesday at the first attempt! Although I have been driving for many years overseas and hold foreign licences, I still had to take a shortened course of driving lessons here and do the test because the foreign licences I hold are not exchangable for an Irish licence - something which I feel is very unfair. Nevertheless, having been driving for so long I have picked up some bad habits which Fergus was very quick to spot and to rectify with his expert tuition, in order to give me the best possible chance of passing the test as a safe driver. Fergus is extremely professional in his approach to his clients - he is very punctual (comes early most times!) and he knows the theory and practice of driving inside out. He is also very patient and polite (a gentleman) which ensures that that any stress associated with driving around the busy roads of Dublin twice a week is reduced to a minimum. He can adapt his teaching to all possible levels - as mentioned I have a lot of experience but my wife is almost a beginner and Fergus can immediately switch his methods from one type of learner driver to another. Here's hoping that my wife also passes her test first time in a couple of weeks - if she does it will all be down to Fergus. I highly recommend Fergus and Lucan Driving Academy to all learner drivers, no matter what level they are currently at in the learning process. Thanks again Mr. Kennedy!

Fantastic experience: Even though I only had done one pre-test with Fergus - I honestly could not recommend him enough to anyone who may need assistance with their driving test or just general driving. This man is not only a knowledgeable, fantastic & patient teacher but also has a soul of gold. I am in general a nervous person when it comes to being tested on absolutely anything at all. So, I had a bitta rocky start on the pre-test & he instantly picked up on my nerves & straight away humanised with me to calm me down which I truly appreciated. He breaks down everything in a way that makes it easy to comprehend & get your own head into the zone. My actual test was booked for the next day & it was my third time trying. I was sure I was doomed to fail after becoming so disheartened from my other attempts. Fergus realised I had been with various different instructors & understood why I felt like I was in sucha pickle. So, were it not for him showing me the best & most useful tips on that pre-test, I would not have passed the official test the next day. This instructor was seriously a blessing to me. Thank you millions & trillions again Fergus!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Fergus and Lucan Driving Academy if you are looking for an experienced and extremely knowledgeable instructor. In as few as two lessons before my test, Fergus taught me a wide range of techniques I had never heard of before. I successfully passed my test with few faults, and that is all thanks to Fergus. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend highly enough! I went from having no driving experience to passing my test in the first attempt all thanks to Fergus. God knows I tested his patience a few times but he is the calmest and nicest person. Doing lessons with him didn't feel like a chore at all and i never found it stressful. Fantastic experience: Fergus has changed my life. I have driven for over 4 years with different instructors & continuously failing my tests. A Big deal was my nerves getting in the way. I could feel a difference in my driving and confidence by the second lesson. Little tweaks here and there and I drove calmer whereas before I would always be tense behind the wheel. His patience and way of teaching is brilliant- there is no issue/problem he couldn’t fix. Times when I felt like giving up, he didn’t. Fantastic experience: After a few failed tests a friend recommended Fergus, straight away I knew he was the instructor for me, my driving and confidence massively improved after just one lesson, I then went on to pass my test today with very little marks, I couldn’t recommend Fergus enough he’s a real driving guru he is so professional and helps you with understanding exactly where you are going wrong, he helps you work on any of your flawed driving, I no longer feel nervous or unsure of anything on the road

Fantastic experience: Just passed my driving test the second time round with Fergus. When I failed the first time I thought that I couldn't improve any further but Fergus pointed out gaps in my skills that I didn't know existed. He was very clear and made sure I understood what was expected of me by breaking things down in an easy to follow format. Would highly recommend for any automatic or manual learner.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test after a number of training sessions with Fergus. I strongly recommend Fergus to everyone as he is a great instructor, and has got great teaching skills. Fergus not only helps you pass the test but he also improves your driving skills even if you have been driving in another country for many years. Fergus is very patient and always gives the best advice. He basically engraves great driving habits and skills in your head.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today after my instructor Fergus gave me some much needed absolutely brilliant pretests, I failed the last time which made me a nervous wreck and than I found Fergus and he was amazing thank you so much again for all you thought me in those lessons. Fantastic experience: I've had to retake the test 4 times before, Best instructor I've had, Calm and detailed instructions. You will be tought a routine tailored to you that will become automatic in your behaviour. For any issues he always knows a better method and approach to try correct it. Every step is broken down and analysed professionally. I will highly recommend to anyone I know doing their test.

Fantastic experience: Fergus was an amazing instructor who explained and went through every minute detail in order for you to have the best chance in passing.
