At D’s School of Motoring we provide an excellent and personalised service tailored to each individual student. Based in Killybegs, Co.Donegal we cover the northwest coastal region which covers the Buncrana, Letterkenny and Donegal Town test center routes.
We pride ourselves on our skill and ability to make each student, no matter how nervous or apprehensive they may be, quickly feel at ease behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: D’s Motor School is absolutely TOP CLASS! Diana is an excellent driving instructor, and leaves nothing to chance. She has great insight and covers all the possible routes for the driving exam, giving you the highest probability to ace your test. The week of my exam, I took two lessons the day before the exam, and one on the day of, only an hour and a half before, the exam itself, and I passed with flying colours! And, what is more, it was my first and last exam ever! I totally aced it! What is more, Diana actually cancelled a personal hospital appointment, in order to give me the lesson on the day of. Diana really cares, your success means something to her, as it should mean something to you. So take it seriously! Put the work and the time in and you have the highest probability of passing. I honestly owe passing my driving exam to D’s Motor School. Thank You Diana for all your help, support, and unwavering encouragement

Fantastic experience: I took my 12 lessons with a different instructor and failed my test first time. I then went to D and felt so much more prepared for my test. she has an excellent style of teaching whilst making you relaxed and makes the experience fun as well. I couldn’t recommend D enough and i passed my test second time with her help!

Fantastic experience: Diane is an absolutely amazing instructor. After a long time of holding a provisional licence and having tried another instructor I switched to Diane a few months ago. She put me completely at ease and always looked forward to the lessons. I applied for the test and past it first time. She is stern but can have a laugh along with it. Negative experience: I bought a voucher few years ago for my son and Diane could not accommodate him as he didn’t have a set rota at work! Just putting it out there that when I asked for a part refund I was refused!! Know this happened to other friends so be careful buying vouchers!!!

Fantastic experience: Having been to other instructors, Diane is by far the best in Donegal. A few months ago I thought I’d have to drive automatic as I couldn’t get used to the gears but Diane reassured me that I was capable for manual and I passed my test yesterday. I used to be a very nervous driver but Diane was always very patient and made me feel at ease. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t have passed the jeep and trailer only for Diane. Putting it off since I passed the car test but she knocked all the bad habits and I’d say her patience was well tested. Couldn’t recommend enough as an instructor

Fantastic experience: Diane could make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! I was a very nervous driver with no confidence. But at the age of 60, Diane got me through my driving test first time! Fantastic experience: Have to say no turn was left unturned. I thought I was turning up to just reverse a trailer and that would be it but little did I realise it was a complete driving test again!!! Diane had some fun pointing out all the bad habits that had me failing on the first lesson. Brilliant attention to detail and admittedly I needed to improve on a load of aspects especially coasting. Was very well prepared come the day of the test and flew threw it thanks to Diane. Thanks again and very professional and extremely helpful and passionate about her job.
