He provides great feedback on how to improve your driving and takes you along various routes encountering different scenarios including the route that you will take on the day of your test. Fantastic experience: Completed Ibt with Kerry biking school. Very good training in the right environment. You get good experience in all environments starting in compound / car park and moving to main roads, back roads, small villages and towns to cover all bases as you advance. Good selection of bikes for someone like me who didn't know what size to start off on. Would recommend to anyone looking for Ibt etc.

Fantastic experience: I just completed the IBT with Ger of Kerry Biking School. I highly recommend Ger regardless of your experience on a bike. I have nine years of experience in another Sun Soaked country many decades ago, and I learned alot through his style of teaching. Ger only takes a select few riders per month, I would strongly advise to stay the course, be persistent on your desire and do your course with Ger. Keep Calling Him. He is worth the wait. His riding experience can instruct any rider, no matter your style, he can teach you how to be a safer rider. I look forward to my pre-test session and when the time comes, certainly will take his advanced training course as I need time with my new bike to build up the skills on the lessons he showed me.

Fantastic experience: I done my IBT and pretest ride with Ger after which i successfully passed my A license test after going down the progressive access route.Ger brought me from been a total newbie where i was a danger to myself and other road users to having the basic skills and habits so i could start on my journey towards getting my own bike and working on my road craft on the lead up to the test.I found Ger to be a good instructor who gave good advice and told me straight out exactly where i was going wrong without any bs which is what i needed.He is sound and nice to talk to which also helps.

Fantastic experience: After thirty years decided to go back biking was a bit overwhelmed about doing IBT but a mate was doing his with Kerry biking school so gave Ger a call booked course and headed to class for first stage must say Ger was very informative and made class interesting he put me at ease straight away the one to one classes on the road was excellent and he must have the patiences of a Saint I thought I knew it all but Ger wasn't long showing me I didn't. if you Listen to Ger you will be a better and safer biker got through IBT with a lot of help from GER now just waiting on my test so look out Ger I be back soon there's nothing this man doesn't know about biking this man deserves ten star rating couldn't recommend him enough even if you have to wait a bit to book your IBT with Kerry biking school thanks Ger

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to have done my training with Ger..it was fantastic from start to finish..the classroom based works were informative and interesting and the 1 to 1 training on the bike was brilliant especially for someone who is a complete novice.. Ger sets you at ease straight away and his instructions and training are clear and are top notch. I could not speak more highly of the course and of Ger and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I just completed my IBT with Ger. Firstly, I was a complete beginner in terms of motorcycling. I had never driven a bike before. Given the risk level associated with biking I wanted to ensure that I was getting instruction on how to do this safely which I got in spades from Ger and Donal. Feedback on questions from the guys was brilliant, they instruct brilliantly on biking awareness and by my last session I was relatively confident about what I was doing. I went from being a nervous rider to a confident but aware rider and somehow managed to enjoy myself along the way. I'm off to buy my first bike now and Ger said he will make himself available to go on another session with me to make sure I'm comfortable on my own bike. I couldn't recommend this school enough for a person like me. Thanks Donal and Ger.

Fantastic experience: Gerard is an excellent instructor. I began the IBT course as a complete beginner, never on a motorcycle before. Gerard assured me that we would go through everything at my pace. The one to one training was fantastic and helped build my confidence and enjoyment in learning how to ride a motorcycle. Update: I worked with Gerard again this year in May and August to prepare for my Motorcycle test. The practice runs were invaluable and I passed first time. Gerard was brilliant in preparing me for the test and highlighting areas to be mindful of. Again, I could not recommend Kerry Biking School highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Ger enough, he is extremely professional while making the whole experience enjoyable on my road to biking, a big advantage with Ger is he only does 1 on 1 IBT lessons on the bike so you get his undevided attention, every min you are out on the bike you are learning, I started off on the 125cc and progressed at my pace to the 650cc cat A, he is a wealth of knowledge but as he will tell you he is still always learning after 50 years biking A+++

Fantastic experience: Ger is the best motorbike instructor in Ireland, he literally gave me Tralee route in the very last minute of my ibt expiring date and I passed the motorbike test thanks to Ger anyone who wants to learn motorbike or learn advanced training Ger is the man. He’s very straight forward in teaching and easy to adapt into our mind so we won’t forget the tips or teaching. I would definitely do advanced training with him.

Fantastic experience: I just completed my IBT training coarse with Geard it was pleasure to learn with Geard he make such a dangerous task relaxing his experience and paitence made me feel at ease, what iv learned in my few days was really valuable I travelled over 2 hours each day to him and the training I got was worth every minute of it. Location is perfect for learning; as soon as I was able to move around safely we got on road, but there was not much stress as traffic is scarce and roads are good. Training pace was perfect as well, it started with theory class after which we would agree on individual training times without strict schedule. Highly recommend this place

Fantastic experience: I wanted to become a Blood Bike volunteer rider and needed to pass the RoSPA riding test in order to do that. I asked around and Ger's name came up all the time, from people who had done training with him previously. Ger was very thorough and professional, easy to get along with and a true gentleman. I had been riding for 40 years and had picked up bad habits along the way. A few sessions with Ger got me back on track and I achieved a RoSPA Gold. I notice a real difference in my riding now. I have no hesitation in recommending Kerry Biking School, whether you are a learner or a more experienced rider, you can't go wrong with Ger.

Fantastic experience: What can I say only Ger Mac was superior at teaching me how to drive a motorcycle on my ibt training the knowledge this man has on motorcycle driving and teaching people how to drive is awesome would highly recommend I cannot wait to do my advanced driving with him in the next couple of months passed my test today happy days thanks again Ger it was a pleasure

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience completing the IBT with Gerry. He is very knowledgeable and very easy going which is great for first time learner. He also offers advanced training and insurance assessments which makes it a one stop shop to learn everything you need to know in relation to motorbike skills

Fantastic experience: Update: Completed Ibt with Ger last July, test for full licence was 02nd May thus year so booked 2 hours on the road with ger week before test to make sure no bad habits were after creeping back in and passed my test first time Cheers Ger thanks for everything #SeeYouOnTheRoad There isnt words to describe Kerry Biking School & Ger Ger is a Biker and has nothing but the love for bikes, his not in it for money, I'm gone back on bikes after 13 years and I'm glad I had to go through the Ibt going back on them to get my licence back, I've lost a lot of friends off motor bikes unfortunately, but there's nothing more dangerous that bad habits, & Ger has opened my eyes to a lot of things, No 1 knows it all, you live and you learn everyday, I'll take a lot from my 18 hours with Ger and I know 110% it had made me a better rider on the road, and I've being around bikes with 20 years. There's only 1 man to do your Ibt with and that's Ger & Kerry Biking School I wish there was 30 more Ger's across the country to show the next generation of bikers how to keep yourself & most importantly other drivers safe. Fantastic experience: I was a complete beginner, and thanks to Ger I just passed my test on the first go. I did my IBT lessons and my pre test lessons with him. He is such a great trainer, puts you at ease immediately, and makes the lessons relaxed and fun. I have such confidence now on the bike and the world is now my oyster!
