Fantastic experience: Hands down one of best driving instructors couldn’t recommend Richie enough. He gave me the confidence I needed and I wouldn’t have passed on my first go without him . I was nervous at the start but as time went on I enjoyed every lesson I had with Richie.

Regardless if you're a brand new beginner or if you're looking for extra lessons to refresh your driving skills Richie is great at what he does and makes the lessons really fun and lighthearted! I'm a very nervous driver and thats just something I need to work on and practice a lot more at (especially with roundabouts and breaking ) but again Richie is great at explaining everything and lets me know where I went wrong and areas I need to focus on and keep practicing at. Fantastic experience: I completed 12 lessons, 1 pre-test and did my actual test all with the BT school of motoring instructor ,Richie. I was able to pass my test 1st time with the assistance and guidance of Richie throughout my learning stages of driving. Each lesson I enjoyed and did not feel stressed or anxious when I had the support of Richie. Richie was always accommodating with times for lessons even when he was busy. When my test arrived Richie drove to the test centre with me giving my vital tips that the tester would ask me a few minutes after which would be crucial to me passing. I had a great experience learning to drive with BT school of motoring and could not recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend BT Driving School for anyone who is new to driving or who has been a driver for a while and needs to complete their lessons. I recently passed my driving test... first try might I add! I did all my EDT Lessons with Richie and he is just a superstar! He always made me feel comfortable and confident on the road. Whenever I would make a mistake, he would always give me tips on how to correct them and never made me feel bad for making said mistakes. We would even make jokes on some of the silly mistakes I made! Not only a great instructor, but an amazing person in general! I am definitely going to miss our chats and laughs! Thank you for everything Richie! Couldn't have done it without you!

Fantastic experience: Hand on my heart the best driving instructor there is !. I was recommended Richie from a friend and words can’t even describe how efficient and professional he is. Fantastic experience: Hands down the best driving school in Celbridge/ Newcastle and surrounding areas. Richie is an absolute gentleman. I was extremely anxious on my 1st lesson, but he instantly put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I used Richie for one lesson and two pre tests after doing my 12 EDT lessons with a different place and I honestly feel like I learned more in that short amount of time with Richie then I did with the other place. He’s so helpful and very encouraging and has loads of tips and tricks to help you along. He really goes the extra mile for his clients and rang me before my test to see if there was anything I wanted to ask him. Overall I’d strongly recommend Richie to anyone going to do lessons or pre tests.

Fantastic experience: Went to Richie after doing 4 lessons prior and did my remaining lessons with him as well as a few pre test lessons. Also I used his car for the test . He provided me with an email containing all the questions you need to know for the theory section as well as other rules of the road which I found very helpful. He was very good and patient at explaining the various sections even if I forgot them! Has a good knowledge all the things to watch out on the test. Can’t recommend him enough - made the lessons enjoyable as well Cheers Richie!

Fantastic experience: I am glad that I opted BT school of motoring for my EDT lessons. Given the fact that I have never driven a car before, I was quite nervous and scared and it lasted until I met Richie. Thank God, it was Richie who is full of fun!! He helped me building confidence around driving, speed and control. Also, gave a lot of tips and information. He is a brilliant instructor and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a NOT- serious and effective driving lessons. Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I did my EDT Lessons with BT Driving School. I originally started my lessons with a mean and impatient Instructor who put down my confidence often. But after switching to Richie, I quickly learned the ways of the road and learned to enjoy driving! Fantastic experience: I finished all my 12 lessons with Richie last week and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He was so patient and encouraging and really helped me with my confidence while driving. Fantastic experience: I always had an assumption that driving lessons would be tense and overly serious and you wouldn’t really be able to chat to the instructor… but Richie proved me wrong! Richie was always punctual and because he helped me feel so relaxed, comfortable and confident as a brand new learner, I was really able to absorb the info Richie was teaching me and put it into effect on the road. I completed the EDT training through a series of 6 double lessons, which was definitely very helpful as we had more time to go to Naas where I hope to do my test. When I get the date for it, I will be doing pre tests with Richie, and I am confident that he has set me up to pass. There was never a dull moment in the car with Richie as we didn’t shy away from a good laugh (and a BeReal), and I couldn’t recommend him more as a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: I'm honestly so glad I found BT school of motoring. I had 3 lessons with Richie, as I had done my previous 9 lessons with another company. All I can say is that he was nothing short of fantastic. I learned more from Richie in one lesson than I had in my previous 9 lessons. He was very professional, made you feel so much more confident in your driving ability, while also being super relaxed himself. I honestly couldn't recommend him anymore. A 5 star review really doesn't even do BT school of motoring justice.

Fantastic experience: I cant recommend Richard high enough. Not only is he a very easy and pleasant person he is a great instructor who makes a beginner feel supported and encouraged in a right way. I came to Richard after having completed around 20 lessons with someone else, utterly dissapointed and close to packing it for good. But after having only a few lessons with Richard I am confudent that I will be able to drive soon.

Fantastic experience: After a short notice Richie squeezed me in for lessons and came in on his day off to provide the best quality and best advice I have received from a driving instructor. Extra work to revise at home with all the material provided, Richie could not have been more helpful. I passed my test flawlessly all down to Richie’s support and guidance. Fantastic experience: Just passed my driving test with Richie and can't recommend BT schools enough!!! The examiner told me its the best driving he has seen in a while, all the hard work we did with Richie really showed. I was extremely nervous for my exam (not my first) and Richie helped me so much, I wish I knew about it sooner. Fantastic experience: I have completed all of my 12 lessons with BT School Of Motoring. I was a first time driver/learner starting off my lessons and Richard made me feel comfortable and he was very patient, helpful and answered any questions I had. Richard went on my pace of learning and if we had to repeat something or if I did not understand something, he would go over it again and again until I felt fully confident. I feel very lucky and I chose the right guy for the job. He had plenty of knowledge, and also provided notes and visual notes which helped me a lot. Fantastic experience: I have just finished my 12 lessons with Richie and I would highly recommend to anyone to chose him for driving lessons. I had very little driving experience before starting my lessons, mainly driving in circles around Tesco car park, but Richie instantly gave me the confidence to drive out on the road from lesson 1 with no apprehension, and that confidence grew and grew as the lessons went on! Richie explained everything thoroughly in every lesson, focusing on the reason that we do things a certain way, instead of “just do it this way.” This made the points stick with me, and answered many of the questions I had - before I got to ask them! No question was too silly, or it didn’t matter if I had to ask the same question again and again between lessons - it was always answered as clearly as the first time! Ultimately, I couldn’t wait for my next lesson each week. Richie is incredibly personable and we would be chatting for the whole session - whilst still making sure I was doing everything correctly. I have no doubt that Richie leaves the same impression will all his students, and I would absolutely choose him again if I were to take my lessons again!

Fantastic experience: I've just finished my 12th lesson with Richie. Starting off from absolutely no driving experience, to being a comfortable and confident on the road in less than 10 weeks is surreal. Throughout all of the lessons, Richie helped guide me to become a safe and confident driver, offering advice to help me overcome my bad habits, and provided detailed summaries of what I did right, and wrong at the end of each lesson. When practicing in my own car between lessons, whenever I had a question - I could just email or text Richie and he would give me an answer, or call me to discuss on the same day. Couldn't recommend Richie enough, Truely excellent at his job. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time yesterday with only two very minor faults. The tester said it was a perfect test and he was very comfortable and nearly falling asleep! All thanks to Richie’s teaching I couldn’t have done it without him, he has made me a very confident and safe driver. I couldn’t recommend anyone more.

Fantastic experience: I recently failed my driving test for a number of reasons. I then did just two hours with Richard. He fixed all my errors and my confidence. He told me at that point to go again and I passed my driving test with no sort of errors. I couldn’t recommend him enough absolute gentleman.

Fantastic experience: I was very fortunate to do my EDT lessons with Richard. He is the most cheerful, patient and knowledgeable instructor I could have hoped for. Fantastic experience: I currently have 6 lessons complete with Richie. I started with zero experience and very little knowledge about cars in general. now I’m comfortable behind the wheel and have a basic understanding on how cars work. I must say I can’t recommend him enough he’s very calm and patient. And best of all he’s a good laugh. UPDATE: I finished all my lessons with Richie a while back and on very short notice and with his busy schedule he was able to fit me in for a pretest before my real test and I’m happy to say on my first go I passed. I would urge anybody young or old if your looking to do lesson get in contact with Richie he is an extremely knowledgeable and professional person and I couldn’t recommend him enough thanks Richie!

Fantastic experience: I’m on my 6th lesson with Richie and from the minute I stepped into the car I felt extremely comfortable and at ease with only a little experience, he’s helped me completely excel 6 lesson in. I highly recommend. We Always have a good laugh while driving around, He really makes lessons fun, the time flies. He has made me a much more confident driver, I leave every lesson more confident than the last. If you are a nervous driver he will calm you straight down. He is an extremely good teacher. When struggling with something he won’t rest until you’ve grasped it and feel confident and comfortable to proceed. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: I went to Richie for lessons after a learning experience that made me very nervous on the road, and after just one lesson I felt like a completely new driver, so much more confident and skilled than I was before. His direction is clear and he gives great encouragement which helped me learn quickly, an excellent teacher all round for people just starting out and for nervous drivers seeking improvement, I can't recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: Just completed lesson 1&2 over the last two weeks with Richie and I couldn’t recommend him enough. I’ve little to none driving experience before then and he had me feeling completely at ease behind the wheel. I know I have a long way to go but I have no fear that I will get there with the BT School of Motoring !

Fantastic experience: I'm on my 4th Lesson with BT School of Motoring and I have to say, I am very impressed with how things are going. I'm starting from scratch with zero experience driving and I'm already on dual carriageways and negotiating busy roundabouts but before all that and before I even sat on the seat we got familiarised with all the necessary pre-op checks like tyres, lights, wheel nuts etc, from how and where to put oil and coolant in the car right down to the wiper fluid. I have never once felt under pressure even when I was cutting out at the lights with a line of cars behind me, I'm always made to feel at ease and never to panic. I still have a long way to go but I couldn't be happier with how things are going and I'm feeling more relaxed and confident with every lesson. Highly recommended.
