Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Right start school of motoring with David , who was always very thorough with the lessons , very precise with all the updated information on the driving rules and regulations and made sure that I was fully prepared on the test day with all the right tips and advice on safe driving . The lessons especially the last 2 extra lessons helped me pass my test with flying colours and I would highly recommend them to others who are looking to pass in the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: I had only a few lessons with Dave before my test 2 weeks ago as the instructor I had for my EDT lessons was out of action. He explained really thoroughlyand gave me a lot of great tips and advices to improve my driving skills. His method for reversing around the corner makes a lot more sense for me which helped my test a lot

Fantastic experience: I had a few driving lessons with Dave prior to my driving test last week. I had done my EDT lessons last year with a different instructor through Aviva who I could not get back in with. There was no comparison in the level of instructing. Dave is fantastic, takes his time to explain and makes sure you understand before moving on. I passed my test with flying colours and can't recommend Dave highly enough! He is also very funny.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test first time! David was very patient and knowledgeable throughout. Learned more in 1 lesson with David than I learned in 6 lessons with my previous instructor. Always made sure to help me keep a good mindset throughout and especially when coming up to my test date, which made the world of difference in my test. Fantastic experience: Pased my test first time today and I can't thank Dave enough for getting me there. He has the patience of a saint! I came to Dave after a break in driving and completing my EDT's with another instructor and had a lot to get up to scratch. Dave helped me get there and I can't recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time with David and I must say he deserves full credit for my result, I found he was incredibly patient with me during my lessons which allowed me to become a confident driver and give me all the tools necessary to pass my test. David has very clear techniques which makes driving much more simple and it is obvious he has great experience in teaching. David is a brilliant instructor, he is extremely knowledgeable, he's great at instilling confidence while you drive and really helps you to believe in your own driving. He is great at bringing out the best in your driving, his patience and great sense of humor really helped me feel comfortable and confident driving. I did all my EDTs with David and couldn't recommend him enough, 10/10 the best way possible for learn and begin driving.

He was brilliant in explaining the techniques and the practical driving, walks you through every step of the test and every aspect. Fantastic experience: I passed my test on my first try a few months ago and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without Dave. He was extremely patient and kind throughout all my lessons, and answered any questions I had, and gave great advice and tips. He was by my side from start to finish, and even came into the test centre with me and calmed any last minute nerves I had before my test with logical advice. Couldn’t recommend this driving school more, if you’re doing your test in Dungarvan this is the way to go!

Fantastic experience: I just recently passed my test and it was all thanks to Dave! I had a good few lessons with a different instructor but when I moved to Dave, he thought me all the skills I never knew I needed. My driving improved massively from the first lesson I did with Dave and continued to improve with every lesson. Dave was also very accommodating with the lessons, he made the lessons enjoyable as well which really helps if you’re a nervous driver. On the days coming up to my test he made sure I knew how to take care of my car and made sure I was well prepared for the different sections of the test. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to start lessons or even to get a few extra lessons to brush up on some areas you’re nervous about.

Fantastic experience: I completed all my lessons with Dave. He is a great instructor but he is also a funny individual which makes the experience of driving more relaxing and enjoyable while getting the proper work done at the same time. He put me at ease right before my test as I was very nervous. And I passed my test first time so what more could I possibly ask for!

Having previously done some lessons with someone else, I moved to Dave and he thought me all the skills and helped me develop as a driver and by the end of it I was well prepared for my test. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first time yesterday thanks to Dave! I seriously couldn't have done it without him. It took me 2.5 years (covid didn't help) and in that amount of time, I had two previous instructors who didn't give me the proper time and help I needed. I wasn't just someone who could jump in a car and know what to do, I needed nurture and I never got that. I was a bit of a nervous driver and it took me a long time to feel comfortable behind the wheel, when I started with Dave just 3 weeks ago I finally was at a place where I wasn't nervous anymore. Dave made me feel even more comfortable and secure in that. He knocked out all bad habits and behaviours I had developed and made sure I was ready for my test. I'll never forget the nerves I had the night before my test and the day of, I felt like getting sick. Having the lesson with Dave beforehand helped me forget about all those nerves, he calmed me down and made sure to give me a bit of a laugh beforehand. He genuinely cared about me as a whole person, I wasn't just a number on his books. I still can't believe I passed FIRST TIME! Thank you, Dave! Couldn't recommend him enough.

Being both personable and methodical, David's approach to teaching and learning made it easier for me to shed the nerves and get on the road. I passed my test on the first go due to my time spent learning to drive under David Patmore. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to begin driving, whether a teen or a pensioner.
