Fantastic experience: There is no words to express my happiness. Nigel did a great job and he helped my husband to crack the test on his first attempt. Nigel wasn't his instructor when he was learning and the old instructor didn't even care about his test. He was worst in teaching lessons which I realized when Nigel said his steering position is a major mistake. One day before the test I called Nigel ( randomly selected from the RSA website) and he has given a lot of corrections and made him to pass the test. Thank you so much Nigel. I do recommend him to others.

Negative experience: Very aggressive and unwelcoming, i made the mistake of doing my first few lessons with him and soon switched. He also referred to my old coworker as “that coloured chap” and went on a racist rant about how he wouldn’t get anywhere in life and had no motivation to succeed which I found highly in appropriate. He was racist, useless and dishonest. Save your money and get lessons with someone else

Negative experience: Booked three lessons with Nigel when I was first beginning to learn to drive last year and had to cancel one of the lessons (during covid era, I had flu like symptoms). Got lectured at my next lesson by Nigel, seemed to think I wasn’t being completely truthful in regards to me being sick. A bit ridiculous and never left the car park at the top of the train station for either lesson. Didn’t go back and finished my lessons with another instructor.

Negative experience: If you are looking for a driving instructor I strongly advice you look elsewhere. Nigel has no patience with new drivers and does not explain to drivers the faults that they are making but just resorts to shouting and screaming . On several occasions he has shouted at me, which makes a new driver more flustered in a already stressful situation. The first lesson you aren't even driving and he would not bring you through the test routes and the lessons itself consists of only 30 mins of actual driving and yet he collects the money for a full hour . Overall I would recommend looking at another driving instructor.

Negative experience: Very bad experience with this man. My son done 3 lessons with him and never went back near him. Just kept shouting at him and never showed him anything. Never let him drive the car. They would sit in the car park at the top of wicklow town and just talk. Total waste of money

Negative experience: i am very disappointed with nigels school of driving, i completed 12 lessons and i talked more then i was on the road, 12 lessons later and all i can do is drive forward, i was never taught how to reverse or even do a pre test, i don’t even know the test route for the actual test. the lessons were meant to be an hour long and i can say most lessons were 30-50mins. today i was given a lecture for 20 minutes by nigel saying in 3 years time i will make no progress in driving and owning a car, saying i will be watching my friends driving with a full license while i’m stuck only with my 12 lessons after the 20 minute lecture i was brought driving for 20 mins and was leaving the car 10 minutes before my lesson was meant to be over. i talked to my friends with other instructors and with no practice my friends were reversing on their 2nd lesson, and in my 12 lessons i never reversed. i really don’t recommend nigel and i’m very upset over this experience.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Nigel when he was an instructor for Aviva and I have to say he is a gent and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone!
