IBT Motorcycle Training - Wesley Higgins

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Wesley at IBT Motorcycle Training - Wesley Higgins. The instructor was very informative and always welcomed questions. According to him there are no such thing called as "silly questions", so we always felt that we could ask anything in regards to our training. I would highly recommend Wesley plus his motors are new and good one to get practice. On my second day on the road, he was very detailed on how we went handled that machine and driving. Attention to small details enabled us to boost our confidence in driving on the road. Would recommend anyone whether a beginner or someone with driving experience ,trying to getting an IBT done, Wesley is your man !!

Fantastic experience: Just recently completed my ibt training with Wesley and I couldn't be happier. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Wesley has a great way of teaching that makes complex information easy to take in. The compound has everything you need to train and the bikes and gear that are supplied are top class. After being let down twice by two previous instructors I was delighted to complete my training with Wesley. Will for sure be booking my pre test here in the future.

Fantastic experience: This is the best place to learn ride the motorbike. My experience before the IBT course was "ZERO". Wesley explained and showed everything. Negative experience: Booked in with this guy got dates off him, he never followed up, when I contacted him again, he just said “yeah no availability, feel free to go elsewhere” I did and found the best bike trading ever! Avoid this guy! Will only deal in cash also!!!

Even if you think you're a good rider, there's always more to learn, and it's worth the trip to Maynooth from Dublin or even from Cork. His training was top notch, coming from very little motorcycle background and going right into Cat A training, he was informative and very clear with his lessons. He would explain down to the smallest detail on how to opperate your vehicle and in the safest manner for yourself and other road users. The second you started to make a mistake, he would spot it straight away and advise on how to correct it. Top class bikes and PPE with a great training area that really gets you to take total control of your bike, along with the route you take on the road that gets you through a whole host of junctions, cornering and speeds, everything was fantastic. Wesley himself was exactly how you want a trainer to be, informative and easy to understand with what seems like endless knowledge on motorbiking not to mention how friendly he is and willing to have a laugh which gets you to relax and not feel so stressed our anxious about riding. Fantastic experience: Wesley made the whole ibt accessible to riders of all levels and easy to understand. The bikes are top of the line and the gear provided is amazing quality and clean. I was nervous about riding on the road but Wesley prepared us for the obstacles we would face in the slow manoeuvre courses he set up. I couldn’t recommend Wesley enough!

Fantastic experience: I completed a two day IBT training with Wesley in July. It was flawlessly planned and executed. I had not ridden a bike for twenty years and he instinctively knew that I would need time to relearn and build up confidence and he had a perfect balance teaching, practice and mentoring. Fantastic experience: I was delighted to be able to do the IBT course with Wesley Higgins. I've heard a lot of good reviews and was over the moon that he could fit me in in his schedule. As a total beginner and a girl in her early 20ies who wanted to go for an A2 category, it could be a little tricky to accomplish it, but he didn't give up, was petient and understanding and made sure that I can handle everything I should for A2 by the end of the course. As a result, two weeks after the IBT course with Wesley, I'm a happy owner of my own Honda CB500, enjoying every day of my ride and will be forever grateful for making my dream come true.

Fantastic experience: Great experience and infrastructure to learn. Wesley is very friendly, which makes learning a breeze. His training centre has everything you need to learn to ride or just enjoy riding in general. Amazing open training area, amazing bikes, amazing gear which he provides if you dont have it on your own. Wesley goes slow with his teaching. He reads people well and can tailor his training especially to cater to you well, and that makes us understand and ask any questions that you have very easy. Location of the centre is also quite convenient to get first-time on-road experience. It was my first time in Ireland, and i thoroughly enjoyed the learning and the riding experience both.

Fantastic experience: The lessons with Wesley are fun and exciting. He is the best trainer and has a lot of experience in what he does which you can see once you start your lessons with him. All the bikes that he provided us are well maintained and in very good condition. Loved my first ride on the Irish roads, to be honest I did some mistakes while approaching junctions or round abouts(as I am still getting used to Irish roads) but Wesley made sure to constantly remind me of what I was doing wrong and made me understand the consequences of it when I am alone on the road, which is the kind of feedback you’ll expect from a good teacher or mentor. The classes were very interactive and Wesley makes sure that you understand every little details before getting on road. Will be booking few more lessons and pre-test with him before applying for my full license.
