Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Eric Dalton and the other instructors enough, I arrived with very little motorbike knowledge and finished my IBT training with the confidence to take a bike safely on to the road. I've had follow up contact with Eric on advice on my motorbike purchase and he also sent on some reading material and this is the free aftercare that doe's not exist in most companies. I will be back for the pretest and cannot wait.

Nestled discretely behind kinnegad Plaza just off the M4, Dalton Motorcycle Training have a fully kitted out, professional motorcycle training facility to get you rolling on two wheels! After hearing back countless recommendations and reading endless 5 star reviews, it was the clear and obvious choice to me to choose Dalton Motorcycle Training to complete my IBT course and get first time riding experience on a motorcycle. The IBT course with Dalton Motorcycle Training consisted of important but very interesting and informative classes in a comfortable modern conference room followed by an introduction to the motorcycles. After the in depth class room tutorials and meeting your motorcycle on the track, you are given plenty of training and time to getting to grips with your motorcycle with hands and feet on riding experience…very exciting! All the training and practice sessions are conducted on the dedicated professional laid out onsite track and training facility and once comfortable and your instructor sees you fit and ready, you will be brought out on to the nations roads where you will experience all the glory of riding a motorcycle in a public place. All of the above is delivered and you are accompanied by trained professional instructors all the time with buckets loads of knowledge with your safety always primary on their mind. I’d like to say a special thanks to Eric Dalton and all his team which all connect like a close knit family for taking me under their wing, where from the outset I felt welcomed and in safe trusting hands. Eric was able to give me guidance, encouragement, valuable information and techniques that are priceless and will safeguard me going out onto the road. As we were divided and spilt off into smaller groups to be brought on the open road, I was assigned Peter as my personal instructor to guide me through the stages and paces. Peter accompanied me through every dip, bend and junction along the way and he comes with a wealth of knowledge and patience for beginner riders!!! This gentleman put my mind at ease with any nervous situations that crossed my path and helped me overcome these by reassurance and championed me on through my motorcycle riding journey. Fantastic experience: Phenomenal trainers, Eric and the team are fantastic, the guys go above amd beyond the normal IBT training, and explain everything clearly and concisely, their combined knowledge on everything motor bike and road safety is beyond reproach ,do yourself a favour, if you're learning to ride a motorbike or scooter, book with them( if you cam get availability)

Fantastic experience: If you want to learn from someone who can teach you defensive riding skills then go to Eric Dalton. He is armed with a full range of skills and can provide comprehensive explanations in a very funny way, making learning from him very easy. Furthermore, he has plenty of instructors who can support you during practical and final driving lessons. I definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Ireland from the US and am in the process of getting my Irish Motorcycle license. Part of the requirements is to complete the IBT. Eric and his team did a great job of getting me back to the basics and helped me identify / work on some bad habits that I have developed over my years of riding in the US. They take the right approach and teach people how to safely operate motorcycles while sharing their passion for it with the group. Great course and a lot of fun. Highly recommend booking your IBT with Eric if you are looking to learn how to ride motorcycles.

Their wealth of experience was evident in both the theory lessons and the practical drills. They were great fun while also being super professional and clear at all times. And last but not least, they were incredibly kind and relaxed when I dropped the bike twice during slow speed drills!

Fantastic experience: I'm usually not the person writing reviews, but this is an exception. When I came to Eric I had no idea how to ride a bike properly, and I could barely believe to learn that within the short duration of the IBT class A course. But is worked! Within just 2 days of training I gained the confidence to operate the bike responsibly. Due to his military background be knows by heart how to train people and get the best out of them. The only thing he asks in return is respect and to follow his instructions at all times. You're looking for a place to do your IBT training and you don't want to end up as a cash cow for some driving school? Better call Eric!

Fantastic experience: I did the IBT training with Eric in Kinnegad September 2021 the trainingis hands on and a lot of fun. Practiced for 6 months then I had a pretest with him on the day of my cat A test and passed first time. Eric is a great instructor with tons of knowledge and patience. Fantastic experience: I signed up for the IBT training and ended up with a fun weekend full of learnings. Eric and Tony have a unique mix of experience in the army, the racetrack and on the road which can offer you a different approach on safety and on your driving skills, which is valuable even when you're an experienced driver. Adrian shared some of his broad experience on the road and other great tips. The rest of the crew are amazing, they made the experience fun and enjoyable but in a professional way.

Fantastic experience: 10/10. I cannot say enough positive things about Eric. I've done my category A IBT, pre test and passed my driving test first time with him. He is very knowledgeable and approachable. He teaches in a friendly encouraging manner with plenty of laughs aswell. But equally he is clear and serious when it's called for. All in all I'd highly recommend Dalton motorcycle training to anyone who is looking for the IBT or pre tests. Indeed I'll probably go back to him for some advanced training in the future. His bikes and equipment are brilliant and I found his pricing good value for money. Thanks a million Eric.

Fantastic experience: I had zero experience on motorbikes.i left after the 2 day course exhilarated to learn more..the instructors have a vast amount of knowledge mixed with a little banter which makes learning fun..I came away from the weekend needing sorry knowing I need to learn more..when I booked the ibt course I wondered if I needed anything it was supplied what an experience thanks to Mark and the lads would do it again in a vheat beat true professional who care for my safety and my families

Fantastic experience: Eric and the rest of the guys are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. The setup in Kinnegad Plaza is ideal. In the closed off training area they brought me from zero experience to a level I can safely drive on public roads. The route they bring you on when on the road, consists of every junction you could have difficulty with and ensures you are able to complete and navigate it before completing the course. There is plenty of feedback if you are doing something wrong, but it is always to the point and helpful. They know how to get serious for the important points, yet ensure that the course is incredibly enjoyable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I'll start with saying if it wasnt for Eric I wouldnt have passed my test. Ive been putting the dreaded test off for years so developed some bad habbits. When I booked the test, I booked 2 pre-tests with Dalton Motorcycle Training. The first pre-test was a week away from my test. Eric picked up on everything I needed to fix on the first run. We spent the rest of that day working on those things and working on road position. On the day of my test I booked my second pre-test for that morning. We went over everything again, all the routes, polishing what needed to be polished. Eirc was all over me and i didnt get away with anything. I was drilled into what the tester will be looking for and what i need to do. Eric was with me all morning until the moment I walked through the test center doors. I walked through the doors feeling prepared for the test which is a big part of the battle. Thanks to Eric I feel I gained more than just test specific material. Some great tips on how to avoid disaster i'll use everyday on the bike. As I said at the start, I would not have passed the test without Eric and cannot recommend enough. Book your test, then Book Eric, do EVERYTHING he says and you'll have no bother. Thanks again Eric, Stephen
