Fantastic experience: Paul is a great instructor. I didn’t do my IBT with Paul however a did a number of Pre Test sessions with him in advance of my test. Fantastic experience: I am really satisfied with the experience and level of knowledge Paul shared with me. I booked a private session to iron out any bad habits and find areas to improve. The whole session was structured to find out what I would most benefit from, find areas to improve upon, and overall make me a safer rider. Could not recommend enough!

Negative experience: A waste of time for me. Firstly I had booked a pre test lesson. Once I had it booked, i saw it was going to be raining for that day, so I requested a change of date. This must have offended Paul as when I arrived he barked at me some array of questions as I was getting off my bike, and he proceeded to say most people don’t change , that I should have pushed on blahblahblah . He then proceeds to charge me 100 euro on the spot, so no turning back now. Already setting the tone for the pre test we head off. Now the funny thing here is I had done previously a test ride with Paul to measure my competence on a bike (which he seemed to have no issues with on the day). Now once we start riding on the pretest day, he does the exact same routine as the date I requested him to check to see my competence. He does not teach me anything I need to know for my driving test, he just proceeds to follow me for an hour. Once the hour is done, he spends about 15 minutes berating me. I don’t really mind that, but there’s a better way to do things when someone is paying you your living. Then he wants to sign me up for more lessons. No thank you, I would rather do it with someone who does not take themself so seriously and is willing to teach me and give me my moneys worth. I recommend Airport Driving School, really sound lads.

Fantastic experience: I can't say that learning here is easy — it requires a lot of time and effort. Paul's standards are insanely high, but that pays off well when you're taking the driving test. Fantastic experience: Paul is a really good trainer, highly qualified and extremely patient. He won't hesitate to correct mistakes early on and if he doesn't think you are ready to move up a category or you are not yet ready to go out onto the road he will get you to repeat a session. The end result is just better trained riders who are more confident and that have taken the time to build up the required skills. I really enjoyed the IBT, it was a great refresher for me having not been on a bike for 30 years. I would highly recommend using Paul Jenkins not only for your IBT but also for pre-tests or advanced riding skills. 4 people passed their tests on the day I was out doing module 5 of the IBT with Paul. Fantastic experience: I have ridden motorcycles for many years in different countries, but you know that just riding a motorcycle is not enough to pass the driving test. I worked with Paul for two days on the pre-test, he observed my driving and explained in detail what to look out for. When I paid attention to his feedback, I immediately noticed its contribution to my driving and I passed the test successfully on my first attempt.

Fantastic experience: Although I spent many years driving Vespa's I hadn't been on one in 19 years and decided to get one for a bit of a pass time, I did the ibt with Paul and I have to say you couldn't get a better or a more knowledgeable instructor in my opinion. I had never driven anything else except vespa's but did the IBT on a 700cc bike. I was nervous to begin with, but through Paul's great instructions and tips etc I feel very confident on a bike like that now. Fantastic experience: I did my cat A motorcycle training with Paul a couple of weeks ago. I had previous experience in riding motorcycles, but needed to do the IBT to get my Learner Permit valid for riding. My impressions - Paul is a really skilled trainer who has a really keen eye. He observed my riding and provided very important tips to improve my riding - honestly, things that I was never aware of and would've never noticed. He is super friendly and firm, somehow managing to get that balance right. He focuses on riding safe, rather than showing off your skills, which really is what only novice riders do. Experienced riders know their skills, and their limits, and focus on staying safe while enjoying the ride to the fullest. I thought that Paul implemented this philosophy really well while we were out riding. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a trainer.

Fantastic experience: I literally hadn’t a clue about motorbikes or riding motorbikes but because of work originally, and commuting, it became a necessity. Paul was recommended by a friend of mine who had been with him previously. Paul can come across direct, to the point and serious and at first it was a little intimidating. However, after the 2nd lesson in the yard and before the 3rd on the road you come to learn that it’s for a damn good reason. He reads every situation correctly. He’s always watching even when you sometimes wish he wasn’t. He gives you space and time to breathe and reflect and is never overbearing. By my 4th and last lesson, it was just the 2 of us and I personally hadn’t been with him or been on a bike in 3 months. And to be honest this was the best day. From start to finish I got full attention, Paul was sound and by the end he passed me with flying colours and made me feel 10ft tall. Couldn’t recommend Paul enough.

Fantastic experience: I completed my A1 module at another place before I came to Paul for my A2 module. Even though I had been riding for a half year I was still nervous about being on the road and getting on a bigger bike. I am very much a learner still, having never taken the car license or been on a motorbike before last year. However, I really enjoyed my experience with Paul. He was very responsive to messages, and is an excellent instructor. I was positively surprised by how much time we got on the road and in different environments, which really helped me gain more confidence and able to enjoy the riding experience more. He is concise, clear and calm with his feedback, letting you know exactly what areas you need to work on and how. I hope to be back in a few months for my pre-test. I can warmly recommend Paul to anyone wanting to do their IBT or take advanced lessons.

Fantastic experience: First of all would like to thank Paul for getting me being comfortable on the motorbike, I came to Paul at end of May to do by IBT course and never driven a motorbike and in 4 weeks I have completed by IBT course and feel comfortable driving a motorbike. Despite this I feel like I can ride a motorcycle safely and competently after the IBT training. Paul's style of teaching is comprehensive, direct and straight to the point. Fantastic experience: Went to Paul to do my IBT training, never ridden any type of motorbike previously, and can say I feel very confident in my ability to go out myself after a very well structured, and thorough course. As per other reviews, very detailed, lots and lots of practical work, completing all aspects of bike manoeuvres, strict (in an ensuring of safety way) when most likely accidentally doing something wrong but quick to help clarify and solve any issues, but also very friendly and fun. Highly recommend Jenkins School of Motoring for IBT and I will be sure to come back for pre-test training.

Fantastic experience: I've just finished my IBT with Paul Jenkins and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I went from being a complete, and somewhat nervous, beginner at the start of the training to feeling very comfortable and confident on a motorbike at the end. Paul has an excellent manner and way of teaching.He is calm, clear and understanding. My nerves disappeared and I felt in good hands. He continually pushed me outside of my comfort zone, at just the right pace, so that I was making progress without feeling overwhelmed or out of my depth. I will certainly be back to Paul over the next few months in preparation for my full licence.

Fantastic experience: I had three lessons with Paul before passing my A2 test. He was great, definitely wouldn't have passed without him. He's extremely knowledgeable and a very clear communicator, so it's easy to know what the work on points are. Pretest lessons are great where he drives his bike behind you and then gives you marks on what you've done wrong during the pretest lesson. I failed both of my pretests with Paul but thankfully I only got two marks in the test itself because of that! Even though I failed both pretests with him, he was still encouraging regarding my strong points which is important too and gave me the confidence I needed in the test! Would strongly recommend getting lessons with Jenkins School of motoring before your test.

Fantastic experience: PASSED MY TEST TODAY! It was my second time attempting it and I started training with Paul shortly after my initial fail. Paul did a baseline assessment and gave me some feedback and advice on my riding. The second time we met we did 2 hours of training which was so beneficial. I met him again yesterday to do a pre-test and I can say that his feedback and advice made all of the difference today and resulted in me passing my test! I am delighted with Paul's lessons, he really takes time to go through everything that can be improved and is available for questions and queries afterwards. Fantastic experience: Went to Paul for IBT for Motorbikes and he was very technical, concise and had all the facilities and tools required to teach me to get upto speed. The training itself was very smooth, he explained the rules for motor biking and gave extremely good tips !

Fantastic experience: I completed my IBT at Paul's school. Having never ridden a motorcycle before, I was very nervous in the beginning. But Paul's structure of the curriculum made it very easy to pick up the skills. The lessons are broken down into manageable sections, and each class builds upon the previous one. Paul doesn't compromise rider safety, and makes sure you are truly road safe before completing your IBT. He calmly observes your riding, and patiently provides feedback. This helped me understand what mistakes I was making, and rectify them without panicking on the road. He also keeps his lessons at the right difficulty level, so you dont feel overwhelmed but still are challenged and learn. I'm a lot more confident of riding a motorcycle now compared to I was before my IBT with Paul.

I went from driving a 125cc to driving a 700cc very comfortably, which was something I taught I would never do. Couldn't recommend him enough. Thanks Paul.

Paul is a very patient teacher, and his teaching style is confidence inspiring. The IBT is broken out into a few sessions which makes it much more manageable for new riders like myself. Fantastic experience: I arrived to Paul very unprepared for my full test which was just a week and a half away. With his clear concise tuition (and patience) my approach to riding and road craft improved massively in a very short period of time and I'm happy to say I was able to pass the test first time round. From being a complete beginner at the beginning of the week to being comfortable and feeling safe on a motorbike in just three days is no mean feat! Fantastic experience: Paul is a great instructor with a lot of experience. He is professional, clear and very informative. All motorcycle are new and fit for purpose. We spent 11 hours on the bikes (2 half days) with some checkpoints on the way where Paul provided feedback and useful inputs. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Updated(22/07/2022): I have already given 5 stars for my IBT training with Paul, but I cannot miss the opportunity of giving feedback on rest of my journey to full license. After finishing my IBT I was practicing on my 250cc Hornet, so if I was going for the exam on that bike it would qualify me only for A2 license. Since I was looking to obtain full A(no limitations)license I had to do the exam on a bigger bike and I wasn't ready yet to purchase one. Paul offers the service where you can hire suitable bike for your exam with no hassle and for very good price(I did the homework already on that). I have also asked for a pre-test and cannot be happier with it. During my pre test Paul pointed our good few flaws in my riding, some due to the fact of riding more powerful bike than I used to and some most likely due to me picking up some bad habits during my Learner adventure. I have booked additional hours for polishing these and Paul was very flexible accommodating short notice lessons. It ended up me passing my official exam on first attempt with very satisfying score. I will say it again, Paul is very straight and fair instructor having in mind not only me successfully passing exam, but mostly being safe on the road to be able to enjoy riding for years. Cannot recommend Paul enough! ------------------------IBT Training below------------ Can’t praise Jenkins School of Motoring highly enough. Paul Jenkins is a real professional with exceptional approach to teaching. On every step he proves that rider’s safety, immediate one during the course, but mostly long term, after finishing the course and riding on your own is the highest priority for him. He is always spot on correcting any mistakes and giving practical advice with explanation how to do that better. I feel I have actually learned skills not only passed IBT training! I do highly recommend Paul if you take your training seriously and you want to be confident and safe on the road. As someone said he’s “firm but fair”. I second that!

Fantastic experience: Paul is a brilliant instructor who has a strict but very fair approach to IBT training and your safety. He has a wealth of experience that he passed on to me and does not rush any aspect of the training. He has a great selection of new & clean bikes available too, which I used for my Category A test. His priority is to train you as a competent rider and not just push you through the training as fast as possible. He knows every detail of passing the test but teaches this through the lens of safe riding. I'd highly recommend Paul to anyone looking complete their IBT and I'll definitely be back for some refresher lessons in the future.

Fantastic experience: "I didn't even have my own bike and I passed my test, first time around, with Jenkins" If you want an expert who doesn't sugar coat it for you and actually helps you pass your driving test, I cannot recommend Jenkins enough. From the get-go, you are provided with effective, clear and understandable instruction and learning while on and off the bike. I went to Jenkins with ZERO experience on a bike and walked away with a Full License and ZERO marks on the test. In total I had about 10 lessons and 2 pretests with Paul, between Sep 20 and Jun 21. Positive experience: Paul has a fantastic way of teaching that is necessarily strict but fair as he truly cares about rider safety and what happens to riders after they leave his IBT. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because it took me a full month to complete the training due to how he runs things, whereas it typically only takes 2 consecutive days to complete the IBT. Fantastic experience: Paul will definitely be up for a casual conversation during the breaks that you get throughout your IBT lessons. Fantastic experience: If you want to learn from the best, Paul is an expert and a phenomenal instructor. He tells you exactly what you need to improve when riding with a no BS assesment. Fantastic experience: Paul was great to train under and I'm confident that I'm riding safely on the roads. He answers any questions you have big or small. He was also happy to offer advice in relation to attaining insurance also. One other thing that I should state is that he is a Rospa Gold instructor (elite rider safety).
