I was making several mistakes, such as improper steering control, incorrect turning positions, and speed mismanagement during turns. Umer patiently identified each mistake, explained them in detail using diagrams, and gave me ample time to absorb the information. His calm demeanor and thorough explanations are the key to building confidence and improving skills. He never rushed through the lessons and ensured I fully understood everything before moving on. Umer also advised me not to book my driving test until he felt I was ready. Once he gave the green light, I booked my test and passed with only two Grade 2 marks! Fantastic experience: I took my EDT lessons with Umar, and then came back after some practice for a pre-test session and a mock driving test. Today I passed my test at the first attempt. I can't speak highly enough of Umar as an instructor. He manages to combine an easygoing, calm and relaxed attitude with the strictness and attention to detail that you would expect. He made it genuinely enjoyable to learn to drive, despite my nervousness about starting to learn in my 40s.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend global driving enough!! Umar is an incredible teacher. I went to him as an extremely nervous first time driver who had never even touched a steering wheel before my lessons with him and still I managed to pass my exam first time round. Umar's approach to teaching is great. He's extremely knowledgeable about cars, driving and HOW one should drive. This translates to clear concise instructions about how to navigate driving a car and becoming a competent driver. He is very encouraging and reassuring while also making sure you are capable to drive and understand what you need to do while handling a car. If I could give more stars than five I would as I never thought I'd become a driver but with his help, I feel so comfortable behind the wheel and elated his teaching and encouragement had me obtain my licence first time round.
