Fantastic experience: I passed my test in the first attempt, all thanks to Terry. He was really helpful from the start. He had provided a handout with road map diagrams and explaining the things to do. He would first drive around and show the observations and actions a driver must take, so that the learner can observe from him. He would keep encouraging you and also be calm and patient all throughout. He makes sure you improve on your shortfalls by practicing it till you feel confident. I'd definitely recommend Terry for your lessons.

Fantastic experience: I booked Terry after a friend highly recommended him for my Mum who wanted to get back to driving after a period of illness. She is in her 80’s and we weren’t sure she would manage it. However under Terry’s expertise, patience and especially kindness to my mum he got her driving again and helped her rebuild her confidence. She passed the on the road assessment for older people. She has a new lease of life back driving again and is so happy. Terry has helped her get her independence back. Positive experience: I can recommend learning to drive with Terry, he is a patient instructor who is practical, knowledgeable and friendly. I came back to driving after taking a 16 year break, and managed to pass on my first examination thanks to his instruction. He was flexible with lesson times and pickup locations, which I appreciated as I needed to fit lessons around a full time work schedule. Minimum lesson duration is a 2 hrs, which helps get the required lessons completed in a shorter duration.

Fantastic experience: I had my first driving test in Dunlaoghaire/Pottery Road today, I had not done any driving lessons in over a year and was very rusty with my road knowledge, I went to Terry for my pretest the morning of the exam, he really helped brush up my knowledge on the rules of the road/positioning and other tasks. Fantastic experience: Terry is a thorough professional with excellent teaching skills! His lessons are tailor made to suit the pupils shortfalls and strengths. Was able to pass in the first attempt, thanks to the simplicity in his instructions. Just to cite an example, when going through a junction (green lights, you have the right of way), Terry would say “did you see the horse on the left! That sort of sticks with you to help you remember correct observations when going through the junctions. Cheers Terry! Glad was able to get your lessons!

I felt comfortable behind the wheel with him, as I was adjusting to driving here. Also took a pretest to make sure I was ready for the driving test, and it was very helpful.
