Fantastic experience: I said I'd leave a review for you over 1.5 years ago and I never got around to it but anyway, passed first time in an automatic after doing the 12 lessons. Granted I had experience driving before but Cornell is a good instructor and honestly can't fault him. Minor con was that post COVID he was super busy so times weren't the best but not his fault. I'm now driving almost 2 years safely and I can confidently say my driving is much better than the average standard in Dublin (not hard to surpass though lol).

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school as my instructor was highly patient and immediately corrected any mistakes. I took only 2 hour lessons + pretest lesson wirh him before my test and he made me cover all the possible routes. I felt comfortable and confident and passed my test in the first go.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my driving test in Dun Laoghaire and I must say I am grateful to Cornel's Driving School for their outstanding service. I had booked my test and was struggling to find a car to use for the test, but Cornel's Driving School came to my rescue at the last minute. The instructor was very helpful and gave me a one-hour warmup session before the test, which made me feel more comfortable and confident. The car they provided me with was an Opel Corsa 2023 model, which was very modern and comfortable to drive. I was driving this car for the first time but the instructor made me feel at ease and helped me to get accustomed to it quickly. He was also very patient and calm throughout the session, which helped me to stay relaxed and focused. Thanks to Cornel's Driving School, I was able to pass my driving test in the first attempt. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a reliable and comfortable car for their driving test in Dun Laoghaire. The instructor was really good and helped me to stay calm and focused throughout the test.

Fantastic experience: I had many different driving instructors in my time and Cornel was far and away the best. Time spent in his lessons was always valuable and tailored to the specific areas I needed to work on. He is calm, humorous, patient, and clear in his instructions. He also rents his car for the test itself which was really useful to me as I had no easy access to a vehicle. His car was much easier to drive than any other I'd tried. I had failed the test several times before but I passed today largely thanks to Cornel!

Fantastic experience: I was able to pass my test with help from Cornel. He is an excellent instructor. He showed relevant roads and provided very useful feedback. The feedback I received during the actual test was the same as Cornel was mentioning during our lessons.

Fantastic experience: Cornel is an outstanding instructor. My issue was mainly nerves and I feared my nervousness would cause me to make extra mistakes and fail my driving test - but no - with Cornel’s calm instruction and pretest review, I went into my exam as calm as I could be. I passed on my first try, which surprised me! I recommend him for the required lessons and equally for the pretest practice and car hire for the driving test. With my pretest practice hour, Cornel amazingly covered about 90% of the specific questions and roads covered for my test - thank you Cornel!

Negative experience: Cornel is a nice man but did a double lesson with me, for which I paid €110 and then never registered my lessons despite saying that he would. He ignored my repeated attempts to contact him about this. I would not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: Today I passed on 1st attempt with the help of Cornel. I completed 12 EDT lessons and pre-test sessions through Cornel's Driving School and cannot recommend him enough. Fantastic experience: Cornel was amazing and very passionate about his job. I booked a reduced 6 EDT sessions and pretest lessons with Cornel. Booking an appointment was easy and he was always on time. He helped me unlearn all my bad habits and constantly corrected my mistake with real world examples. He took me through various possible test routes out of which, one was actually my test route during the driving test. If it wasn’t for Cornel I wouldn’t have cleared my driving test on the first attempt. Not only that, i completed my driving test with no road marking. Fantastic experience: Cornel's driving school is the place to go if you're looking to get driving lessons! I hadn't done too much driving practice prior to starting lessons with Cornel. I blame my previous instructor for this and her traditional and old-fashioned approach to driving, where in 5 lessons (5 hours) she hardly let me lift my foot off the clutch, and completely wasted my money. Cornel however gave me the the chance to finally get on the road and actually drive. From the very first lesson he was always on time. He always managed to communicate to me perfectly, preparing me for the test all the way through. He constantly pointed out what I was good at and what I needed to work on and helped me every time I would make a mistake. He was a quality teacher and great value for money. In the end, I passed my driving test on my first go with only about 30 hours of lessons (and no car of my own).

His observations and guidance helped me to cross the test in first attempt itself, He has in depth knowledge for safe driving, he will always keep pointing out the mistakes & advising to correct those mistakes as well during whole session. Fantastic experience: Passed my exam today and most Thankful to Cornel for correcting all my mistakes and guiding me to a delightful driving test experience. I just got one Grade 2. I had failed in my previous test when I was with other instructor and was clueless on what things I needed to improve. Cornel helped me find the gaps and get them fixed. Secondly, One of the reasons I failed last time was the car I used as the same was stalling a lot but the car shared by Cornel is very smooth and in perfect condition. Fantastic experience: Booked my test in December, got a date in January so was under pressure to do my EDT in just under 3 weeks. Rang and emailed around to no avail. Rang Cornel and sat my 1st lesson next day. Cornel is polite, pleasant and was punctual for each lesson. He's calm and a nice person to talk to genuinely. I had almost zero experience driving a car as I only drive motorcycles. So from December to my test 19th January, I went from beginner to doing the driving test. I passed on my 1st attempt. Luckily the lessons were fresh on my mind but if it were not for Cornel, not a hope I'd have passed on my 1st attempt. Many thanks Cornel and I wish you well for the future.
