Fantastic experience: Alan is a 10/10 instructor and I couldn’t recommend him enough. I did my lessons from day one with him and through the relaxing and encouraging environment he created I picked up the basics easily. It was so easy to chat with him and fill the downtime of driving which made me a lot less nervous in the car. Fantastic experience: I came to Alan having driven with a number of instructors, a failed test and just overall apprehension in my ability to drive and pass a test. Alan was great from day one. Fantastic experience: I’m a 29 year old woman and after failing my test two times and picking up some bad driving habits, a friend of mine recommended Alan. I suffer from anxiety and Alans calm nature was exactly what I needed to get prepped for my next driving test. Fantastic experience: If there is another instructor as good as Alan Graham in Galway City, I would be absolutely amazed. He is calm, patient, incredibly perceptive of your driving and knowledgeable on exactly how to amend/adjust. Particularly if you've been practicing/doing lessons and feel like you're not quite clicking with it. I'd always say to people, go to Alan. I passed first time and went in confident that I would do so. I would highly recommend a pretest lesson on the day with Alan as well. I was in the perfect headspace after it.

Fantastic experience: I am a 32 year old lady who came to Alan at the lowest point of my life and Alan built up my confidence in driving massively. Not surprisingly, I passed my driver test the first time, thanks to all the advice and guidance from Alan. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Alan highly enough! He is knowledgeable, patient, calm and even tell you a joke to make you more relaxed. I passed my driving test at first time back in 2013. My two kids also passed driving test at first attempt, one in 2022 and other one just two weeks ago. No matter if you are woman terrified of driving, a young boy who thinks he knows all about driving or anxious and with lack of confidence girl-Alan knows exactly what methods of teaching will work out well. Fantastic experience: Alan is super patient and knowledgable. His calmness and ease when I was beginning to drive were a huge help. Not only did he help me pass my test first time, people often comment positively on my driving skills which I can only credit to Alan. After I passed, both my sister and my best friend went for lessons with him also - and they both passed first time, too! I couldn't recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: I had always been terrified of driving and didn't start lessons until my late 20s when a few of my friends had recommended Alan and I decided to give him a call. From the very first lesson Alan helped me to feel more comfortable behind the wheel. He was never too pushy or judgemental when I was too scared to try things, but always managed to gently encourage me instead. Alan helped me to become a confident and safe driver and I couldn't recommend him enough. The only downside to passing my test first go is I missed my weekly chats with Alan!

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend Alan Graham, he is a very knowledgeable instructor with a great approach to teaching. I passed my test 5 years ago and haven’t looked back since. He gave me everything I needed to be confident on the road. I’ve had multiple friends and both of my brothers learn to drive through Alan and all would say the same.

Fantastic experience: Alan is a fantastic instructor. He is such a calm, kind, patient person and he is amazing at teaching. I had a good bit of anxiety when learning to drive and he had a perfect balance of keeping me calm but also pushing me to learn, and I always felt super comfortable and safe with him. He was also super accommodating with scheduling my lessons since I had a bit of a crazy work schedule and he was always happy to meet at early mornings or even over the weekend. I honestly couldn't recommend Alan any more highly!

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Alan as a driving instructor more. His lessons were very comprehensive and ensured that I was really well prepared for the test which I passed first time. He is a true gent, always punctual, friendly and manages to create a relaxed environment during lessons which could be inherently stressful. Several of my friends in addition to my 3 siblings are past pupils of Alan’s on my recommendation - all had very positive experiences and were successful passing the test.

Fantastic experience: Great instructor. I didn't have a car at the time of doing my lessons and he recommended extra lessons on top of the required 12 that he thought I would need to pass and sure enough that's exactly how many I did and passed my exam first go. Very nice man to learn with. 10/10
