First of all, he is very responsive and the process to book lessons online is very easy and quick. Secondly, I have been feeling very comfortable driving with Rafal. He was very patient, and was always correcting me with a soft and funny approach when I was making mistakes. Then, the car in which we drive is very comfortable and clean, it's very pleasant to drive such a car and it feels quite safe too. Finally, Rafal is very knowledgeable. Not only on the Irish driving system but also on different European country driving systems as well which is a plus because he understands and knows the different rules. Fantastic experience: I did the EDT (6 hrs) + some practice runs. I passed on the first try. I have a lot of experience driving in another country, so for me it was mostly learning how to drive in Ireland/rules/etc. The instructor (Rafal) was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The car is also very cool (Mercedes). Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Disappointed to know they didn’t teach beginners and if you don’t have a car it’s another problem for them.

Fantastic experience: The most professional approach you can get! From detailed explanation in theory to actual one in practice while you driving but with perfect timing so that you don't get confused on the road. That for me is a deal breaker because not everyone has awareness when and what to say. Car is very good, clean, without crazy perfume scents, odorless and drives smooth like butter. I had to do 6 hours reduced EDT lessons and I must admit I am amazed at how quickly I felt relaxed while driving, thanks to Rafal's pedagogical approach. Fantastic experience: I needed some driving classes to re-start learning driving, since I had stopped for 10 years, besides the need of getting used to the left side driving. I came across Rafal's driving school because he covered my area in Dublin. From the frst lesson I could learn so much. Rafal is a very experienced driving instructor that helped me refresh so many important aspects of safe driving in 5 hours so far. He's very attentive to details and safety on the road. The classes consisted of driving with some short breaks to explain some theory aspects and the logic behind certain choices on the road. The way he teaches is gradual, which means that in order to minimise stress he makes you drive in quiter and more controlled areas first and gradually increasing the difficulty. At the end of each class he gives you a constructive feedback and an estimate of how many hours you would need with an instructor or an experienced driver with you in the car. I'm definitely going to book again with him to check a few more aspects after some practice with my partner.

I was so anxious initially, but because he focuses on your weak areas, you soon master them and progress to more challenging things. He emphasises the importance of practising with your sponsor, which I did by taking his pointers and working on them further. This is vital for making good progress. Fantastic experience: I would 110% recommend Rafal at Driving Well Academy. I started lessons in January 2018, having never been behind the wheel before, and just passed my test January 2019! I did not have a car to practice in in between lessons and therefore it was a slow process. The only time I was driving was when I did lessons. Regardless of that, Rafal always kept me motivated and suggested what I needed to do to pass within a year. Two months ago I also accepted a new job which required me to drive, so I was feeling a lot of pressure to pass. However, Rafal always stayed positive and I truly felt he had belief in me that I would pass in time for the new job. Rafal takes a genuine interest in his students and is a pleasure to be in the car with. He also has fantastic observation and is really present in each of the lessons to ensure you focus on improvement areas and drive better after each lesson. It also ensured that you get your money's worth. Rafal absolutely takes pride in his work.
