Southside Driving School, located in Lucan, is a family-owned driving school run by Alan and Fiona O'Connor. Fully dedicated to educating new drivers, they offer a methodology tailored to the individual needs of each student, whether a complete novice or someone needing a final touch before the test. Alan, a Road Safety Authority approved driving instructor, is committed to creating a relaxed learning environment to help his students gain confidence.

With all lessons priced at a flat rate of €55 including VAT, Southside also offers an Essential Driver Training (EDT) course, required for those who received their provisional license after April 2011. This course consists of 12 lessons covering critical driving skills, from managing the car controls to safe driving in traffic and at night.

Fantastic experience: Alan is a wonderful teacher and I would definitely recommend completing your driving lessons with him! He is very patient and great at explaining things. He was also very flexible around my schedule which was appreciated. Thanks again Alan!
