Fantastic experience: Andy is a fantastic instructor! I started lesson 1 with him never having been behind the wheel before and after months of encouragement, positive but diligent teaching, reassurance and many laughs along the way he helped me to not just pass my test but believe in my abilities as a driver and supported me through a lot of driving and test anxiety. Couldn’t recommend him more. Thanks for everything Andy!!

Fantastic experience: Very happy experience

Negative experience: Honestly such a bad experience. I did not think he was one bit encouraging. I only did 7 lessons with him and he told me in an earlier lesson I’d probably need about 22 lessons to ever pass a test, so he didn’t even give me a chance really. On my final lesson with him he basically called me a spoilt brat, he said I was no good at driving because I get everything handed to me, this man knew absolutely nothing about me so had no reason to think this, and on my final lesson he also called me arrogant, which also couldn’t be true as he completely ruined my confidence with driving.Obviously never went to him again, changed instructor and within 4 months of my last lesson with Andy was fully able to drive, so I was not useless at driving I just had a useless instructor.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test first time and couldn't thank Andy enough. He was so patient and encouraging and really helped to ease my nerves. Couldn't have chosen a better instructor, he teaches in a way that makes driving enjoyable rather than stressful! Thank you!! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Started my driving lessons with a larger school in town but after a while I noticed I wasn’t really improving or getting any constructive feed back. My first lesson with Andy he was able to call out exactly where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. Small changes made a huge difference and he was great at explaining. By the time I took my test, he had me fully prepped and confident... passed no bother I enjoyed the lessons , he’ll definitely make you laugh and is a passionate man when it comes to roundabout etiquette !

Fantastic experience: You couldn't find a better driving instructor in Ireland, let alone Limerick! Andy is extremely patient, encouraging and a brilliant communicator. I started my driving journey with a different instructor and came back from each lesson, disheartened, frustrated and dreading the next. When my housemate started her lessons with Andy she came back from her first lesson SMILING!!!. I knew I had to change instructor! Andy will take you through the basics and build your confidence in the car and on the roads, all you have to do is practice in between lessons. And when you don't understand something he doesn't make you feel like an idiot!! After a few lessons with Andy I started to enjoy driving and even enjoy the lessons. Do yourself a favour and book your EDTA course with Andy. Passed the test first time round!

Fantastic experience: I re-booked my test after failing it twice before and heard about Andy through a friend of my partner. I had zero confidence driving and with the test five weeks away I definitely wasn't feeling too great about the whole thing! Meeting Andy for the first time felt like I was going driving with a friend I'd known for ages! Definitely put me at ease from the get go. Andy is professional and so accommodating. From the moment I first got in contact with him he was easy to deal with and there was no fuss. He was extremely patient and thought me some excellent skills. I would 100% reccommend Andy as the proof is in the results, five weeks later I passed my test after thinking I'd never pass it! Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Andy. Both my friend & I did lessons with him and found him perfect; we both passed on our first try. He's very professional and down to earth, putting you at ease if you're nervous about driving. Initially, he starts you off driving around in industrial estates, and then brings you out onto the main roads when you are ready, which I found was a perfect way of gradually building up road experience. If you've never driven before, don't worry. He'll talk you through everything, and within no time, you'll be a natural! He goes through every route that the examiners will test you on, so you are well prepared by the time you sit your driving test.

Every lesson was well structured, explained, full of relevant information and humour as well, which was all needed. He is extremely accommodating in his lessons and his prices are very competitive for the length and quality of the lessons. Recently passed my test for which he had me extremely well prepared but more importantly I will be a safe driver going forward. He even brought new L plates to my pre-test in case I had forgotten them! Have been recommending him to others already as he is by far the best instructor I have had.
