I was very nervous when I started lessons, but he’s calm and patient and always looks for different ways to explain things to you if it’s not clicking. He gave me a lot of resources for the theory section and sent over videos to help with the manoeuvres. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Darren is an amazing instructor. I just passed the driving test today in my first attempt and a lot of credit goes to Darren. All I did for the test was to remember and follow every instructions given by Darren during our classes. He used to sit and observe the driving manners and then used to correct me on my mistakes. At the end of the class, he used to point out the areas of improvement. Also, he took me to the usual test routes in Tallaght which made my driving test very comfortable. The lessons flew by and I feel so much more confident in my driving - I felt like we covered so much in just 12 sessions and I genuinely look forward to going on the roads now. I passed with only four faults and it’s all down to him. Very accommodating and I could tell he really wanted me to pass and even made sure he was available the morning of my test to go through everything with me. Fantastic experience: Denise was a dream to work with! I was very nervous and I needed some pre tests. Denise is very knowledgeable and helpful with kind guidance and understanding. She rescheduled me last minute and made sure to squeeze me in for as much as she could before the test! I passed this morning and I have Denise to thank for that.

I was very nervous to learn to drive, but Darren was an extremely calm instructor, with lots of great advice and tips for being a safe driver on the road, and the technical explanations for each of his points. The tester said I had obviously had lots of practice, but had learned the fundamentals very well, and that's down to what I learned at Turning Point School of Motoring. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Darren and his extensive knowledge, I was able to pass my test with very few faults. Darren has a serious wisdom of driving gained from his experience driving all types of vehicles over the years and he uses this knowledge to guide you along the road in the car in the safest and most controlled manner possible. He has brilliant tips and tricks in his locker that help you become a better driver. This knowledge is what makes him unique as an instructor compared to some other driving instructors who are lacking in this area. Darren is also very flexible with his bookings and will make time for you. Most importantly he’s good craic in the car.
