Fantastic experience: Brilliant driving school, extremely accommodating with times and dates. I carried out all 12 EDT lessons with Fergus and passed first time. Very thorough, professional, and honest about how the lessons were going, pinpointing things I needed to work on each week. Fergus definitely instilled confidence over the 12 lessons. Annemarie was always on the phone to confirm times and dates and if anything needed to be changed, I was given lots of notice. Would highly recommend anyone in Galway City to go with Galway Bay Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Did all 12 of EDT lesson and passed my driver's test first try, all thanks to Fergus and thanks to Annemarie, who was able to accommodate the best dates and times to complete the lessons which suited me a full-time student. Fergus is great, he is friendly and supportive, if your looking to do you're EDT lessons, highly recommend Galway Bay Drinving School.

Fantastic experience: It was covid and lockdown that has resulted me with no driving instructors being available. Fergus came to the rescue and helped me with all the required instructions. It was a smooth process and being all the sessions as interactive as possible with my reduced EDT classes and all mandatory instructions, I cleared my driving test in first attempt. Being patient enough to explain all my mistakes I have had a very good experience with Fergus.

Fantastic experience: Started with Fergus as a very nervous, complete beginner and just passed my test on my first go!!! From the first lesson he filled me confidence and was incredibly calm, patient, reassuring and thorough in getting me familiar and comfortable with the controls of the car, the rules of the road, what to expect in the test and in how to be a competent and safe driver. I never once felt nervous or overwhelmed driving with him and I felt so confident going into my test knowing he had covered everything with me. Highly highly reccomend Galway Bay Driving School (also Annemarie is brilliant organising everything behind the scenes), especially if like me you're feeling nervous when you're starting out!

Fantastic experience: I was required to go through the Reduced EDT after I returned here after many years abroad. I found it very difficult to get an instructor or to even get one that would respond to my request until I rang Galway Bay Driving School. From the moment Annemarie answered my call I felt I was being listened to was so reassured. I took my lessons with Fergus and found him dedicated, competent, professional and a great teacher. He is personable and went out of his way to be reassuring while at the same time being clear about the standards required. He was clear about the areas to which I needed to give more attention. I feel that he really directed me very well and that he is the reason for my success and my passing the test first time.

Fantastic experience: Joe Lally was my driving instructor and I passed first time thanks to him. Joe is very patient and knowledgeable about all aspects of driving. After having a few bad experiences with other driving instructors who only cared about making money finding Joe was a big relief. Joe really cared about me passing my test and he even encouraged me to do it sooner than I had planned. He really built my confidence and as a result I am a more confident driver. I highly recommend him- Thanks so much Joe :)
