Unlock the freedom of the road with Kelly’s School of Motoring, Athlone’s premier choice for driving instruction. Led by John Kelly, an experienced and fully RSA-approved driving instructor, our school is dedicated to transforming nervous learners into confident, competent drivers. Located in the heart of the Midlands, we offer a supportive learning environment where safety, knowledge, and confidence are the pillars of our curriculum.

Our approach is tailored to your individual needs. We believe that passing the driving test is not just about knowing the rules, but having the self-assurance to handle real-world traffic. From your very first lesson, we provide detailed, personalized feedback, including notes and video analysis, to highlight areas for improvement and celebrate your progress. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that every learner leaves our lessons with a clear understanding of where they stand and how to reach test-ready status.

Safety is our top priority. We utilize a dual-control vehicle for initial training, allowing you to practice essential skills under the direct supervision of an expert instructor who can intervene if necessary. Once you are comfortable and registered, we can transition to lessons in your own car, ensuring a seamless journey from learner to independent driver. Our competitive pricing and comprehensive instruction make us excellent value for money, without compromising on quality or safety.

With a reputation built on a very high pass rate and decades of experience, Kelly’s School of Motoring stands out for its friendly, patient, and professional service.
