Hi all I have recently set up Amanda's Driving School. It is an independently owned business based in Portlaoise. I am a qualified Driving Instructor and Driving Tester within the Defence Forces and I have recently qualified as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) with the RSA. I am Garda vetted and my car is dual controlled for your safety. I will be providing EDT (Essential Driver Training) Lessons, EDT Log Book, pre-tests & car hire. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Amanda! Can’t thank her enough for giving me confidence with driving, all of her encouragement, patience and hard work she has put in to each one of my lessons! I felt so prepared and at ease going into my test with no questions left unanswered and passed first time due to her fantastic attention to detail! Truly amazing at what she does!!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t Recommend Amanda enoughI did a few lessons with Amanda and she is so patient, kind and a perfectionist at what she does, so easy to understand her techniques and explanations which helps massively under test nervesif your looking for a great instructor get in touch with Amanda

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience doing lessons with Amanda. She is incredibly patient, explains everything so well, and doesn't move on from a topic until you have grasped it 100%. I would highly recommend her to everyone looking for a great instructor.
