Fantastic experience: I first met the instructor Dave when I had to complete a safety module again that had gone out of date. He was fantastic so I went back to him for lessons before successfully passing my test at the first time of asking thanks massively to the preparation I did with Dave. He's extremely knowledgeable and delivers his instructions clearly and with good humour. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had been off bikes since 2001 got new learner permit in 2022 did my IBT with Dave, i was very nervous,his expert training was very good, gave me my confidence back. Had my test on Wednesday the 31st did two pretests the days before my test, Dave was firm but fair and pointed out the habits I had picked up over the past two years and what I needed to work on. Passed first time,over the moon, would definitely not have past without Dave's training. Would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to become a safe and confident driver, 10/10 thanks Dave.

Fantastic experience: So I did my ibt along with a friend in 2022 went back to Dave in 2024 to sit a pre test and both myself and my friend passed the full a license on the first go. He inspired confidence in driving a motorcycle and didn't hesitate to call us on our faults when it came to a full test. Really appreciate the effort he put into teaching us to be safe on the roads. Fantastic experience: Surendrasingh Ruhee took me from a nervous driver to a confident one in our 12 classes. He included frames of reference for things like parking and reversing that just weren't present the last time I tried to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Dave more, not only is he a great instructor but he's just a really nice person that makes you feel at ease the whole time. If you want to know how to be comfortable on a bike Dave's the person to go to! Fantastic experience: I recently did two pre-test lessons with Dave from ADS School of Motoring prior to taking my A2 Motorcycle test at the Tallaght Test Centre. I was fairly nervous about a few of the testing manoeuvres and needed a bit more confidence. Dave was very friendly and easy-going and gave some simple but really useful advice. He really helped me get focused for the test and even though I made some nervous mistakes in our lesson just before the test I was able to refocus myself afterwards and went on to pass! Highly recommend the guy. Thanks Dave!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, I done my IBT course 2 years ago with ads motorcycle training and done two pretests and passed my Category A test today, a real gentleman to deal with and makes you feel at ease and calm, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I completed the mandatory IBT Motorcycle training with Dave in October 2020 at ADS School of Motoring! The training was brilliant, I learnt a good deal from Dave on the basics of riding. He is very professional and a super teacher, I couldn't recommend him enough!! Fantastic experience: Just got my A licence and cant thank Dave enough. Got a date for my test and Dave straight away put a plan in place and got the ball rolling for pre tests and run through what was required on test day. Highly recommend ADS for all levels of rider.

Fantastic experience: My son (25) and I (55) have just finished our IBT with Dave at ADS School of Motoring. Dave runs a very professional business and your safety is paramount. He is a skilled rider but more importantly a skilled instructor. He provided all the equipment needed as well as the bikes and made sure we were comfortable on the bikes in the first instance. His training are is of road in the first instance and so the trainee feels very safe. Neither of us had ridden before but within 45 minutes on day one we were riding 600cc motor cycles- albeit slowly and in first gear! We would not have been allowed to progress had we not been competent and Dave ensures that throughout the course. He does make sure you know what you're doing but also pushes you on to the next step. If not, I probable still would be in first gear !! I have no hesitation in recommending Dave's school to any rider either novice or someone retuning after years away from bikes. Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend ADS. I was given a really comfortable pace to learn at. I started on the 125cc bike just to warm up and then I went onto a 600cc bike. I didn't feel any pressure or any sort of anxiety that normal instructors would give you. I was given a ton of activities to help me control the bike and to do so safely before even thinking about riding on the public roads. These activities got me prepared perfectly, and by the time I went out onto the public roads, I was very happy with my performance. I will definitely be coming back to get some pre driving tests. A wealth of knowledge and patience, coupled with good gear and bikes of all capacities. Fantastic experience: Just passed my driving test for the full A driving licence. David helped me through the process seamlessly. I used ADS Initially with the IBT and then for my driving test for the full licence. You should definitely use ADS if you're preparing for your driving test

Fantastic experience: Passed my test just the other day and could not have done so without Dave’s help. He is clearly a very experienced instructor and knows exactly how a bike should be driven safely. Additionally he knows what testers are looking for during the test and the routes they generally take. He is great at getting you into the correct frame of mind on test day and advocates “just ride the bike”. This is very helpful advice as often trying too hard to be safe etc. results in silly mistakes and failure. As a teacher, his communications, observations and instructions are spot on. Highly recommend his services for someone needing lessons and/or pretests.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test on first try! Everything went as planned. Just got 2 grade 2 and 1 grade 1 marks, for category A. I did about 3 lessons with Dave. I definitely recommend him. He has a good system and he will definitely be tougher on you than the tester, which is a good thing. This way he will make sure you have all skills to pass your test. Also he teaches you skills that you would use normally on your day-to-day rides instead of teaching "tricks" to pass the test. If you follow his advices you should be able to pass the test in any test centre, no matter the route.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today. 01/10/19. The rain was so intense so with my visor down my glasses fogged. With it open they were wet. Had I not done the IBT with Dave and the pre test, I would have not had the ability or confidence to even attempt the test today, let alone pass it. Even if it was dry, what Dave corrected me on in the pre test would have made me fail if I attempted it without his guidance. I rented a bike from him for my test and it was a top machine to ride. Never ridden that kind of bike before today and still managed to pass thanks to Daves patience showing me the methods and manoeuvres before the pre test. Thanks a mil again Dave, been a pleasure. Funny how the better you are at your job, the less you get people coming back to you :D

Fantastic experience: I done my IBT with Dave and then came back two years later to get two pre-test lessons with him before my category A test - and thanks to Dave I passed first time!! I think he is fantastic in his approach, he puts you at ease on the bike whilst also putting you in a driving test like environment. He treats the lessons as driving tests and will certainly point out any flaws you are doing! And will tell you what you need to go away and improve on. In many cases you will be doing a pre-test with another person taking a lesson, which is great because you get to see other errors to avoid when they are driving in front, and you get to see Dave driving, which allows you to see how things should be done. If you are doing a driving test you should definitely do a pre-test with Dave on the actual day of your driving test. Dave will most likely take you on the exact route that you will be doing later that day for the test, and make you do all of the procedures. After I done this I found I was perfectly in the zone then for when I was doing my actual driving test. I would highly recommend Dave if you want to learn to drive and then from a driving test perspective, his students' pass rates speak for themselves!

Fantastic experience: Dave is a great teacher. He tells you when you are doing something wrong (which is standard) but he also tells you when you are doing something right (which is crucial). Add to that, he is a sound man, with some great stories. I passed my test today, and I did it with Dave's help. He responds fast and is a proper professional. Personally, I have recommended Dave to my best friend who is going to do his IBT with Dave next week, and my girlfriend, who will be learning with Dave soon. Would recommend Dave to anyone who wants to learn how to ride safely, wisely and for life. Cheers Dave!

Fantastic experience: Dave is a great Motorcycle Instructor. After my DTT, I trusted Dave to get my IBT. His instructions are very clear and precise, he is very patient and doesn’t hesitate to repeat several times always with a smile and a good mood. After 6 months, I came back to Dave for a pre assessment, to get no surprise for the official test. He explained me exactly what the test was about and corrected my bad habits, I trained with Dave and got my test with success, first attempt ! My advice, go to repeat your exam with Dave is worth the money Dave have been a great support in order to get my Motorcycle Licence A.

Fantastic experience: I completed my IBT training and I don't think I could have had a better experience. Dave, the instructor, brought me on at a really good pace and by the end of the course I felt like I had really grasped the fundamentals of riding a motorcycle - after having been a complete beginner beforehand. Fantastic experience: Dave is an excellent motorcycle trainer. I took my IBT with him and am still using some of the riding tips he gave me then. I also took a Pre-test session with Dave and thanks to his guidance, feedback and coaching I successfully passed my A motorcycle driving test first time. Fantastic experience: I have just completed my A2 IBT with Dave today, having come from no experience whatsoever on a motorbike. Initially, when I looked into doing motorbike lessons, I researched every IBT instructor in the greater Dublin area, through the RSA. David is by far the best value for money and an excellent instructor. From the very start of the lessons, any queries I had were fully answered and then-some. The most impressive aspects of his teaching style are that 1. He tailors the lesson to the student, spending less time on areas that the student is already strong, which allows for more time to be spent mastering weaker areas, and 2. The total trust Dave has in you with regards riding. This leads to you not only having faith in yourself while learning, but also enjoying the lessons as well. Having been out on the road with Dave for several hours today, I not only got to exercise controlling and handling a motorbike in all kinds of Dublin traffic, he also pointed out dozens of potential hazards and observations as we came across them, that have made me far more aware as both a rider and a driver. I would highly recommend doing lessons with ADS motoring and will be returning for my pre-test in the new year. Cheers Dave.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my IBT with Dave over 2 days. Having no experience previously, I now feel confident and competent on a bike. Dave places a lot of emphasis on control and observation, meaning I felt very safe the whole time, especially when we went from the training centre out onto the road. His communication is excellent, and really forces you to think about the reasons behind the processes. Dave is incredibly experienced and a very skilled rider who runs the course expertly. I will 100% be returning to Dave before doing my test for my full licence. I would recommend ADS School of Motoring to anyone who wants to learn to ride a bike or improve their existing skills.
