Crowe Driving School

A Patient, Professional Approach to Driving Education

Crowe Driving School, based in Clane, Co. Kildare, is a professional driving school run by Paula Twomey, a fully qualified ADI instructor. The school caters to students across Clane and the surrounding areas, emphasizing a teaching style that is personable, empathetic, and patient. Paula believes in teaching driving as a life skill in a calm, relaxed, and fun manner, making the learning process accessible and enjoyable for all types of learners.

Unbeatable Success Rate and Student Confidence

One of the most striking aspects of Crowe Driving School is the overwhelmingly positive feedback from students regarding their test results. Numerous reviews highlight a high success rate, with many pupils passing their driving test on the first attempt. Paula is frequently credited with building immense confidence in her students, helping them overcome anxiety and nervousness that often accompany learning to drive. Even students with previous test failures or those who had struggled with other instructors have found success under her guidance, praising her ability to correct bad habits and instill a sense of calm assurance.

Flexible Learning and Personalized Instruction

Understanding that every learner is different, Paula tailors her lessons to suit individual needs and schedules. The school offers flexible lesson times, including early morning pre-test sessions and late-night lessons, accommodating busy schedules for those in college or with work commitments. Lessons can be conducted in the student’s own car or in Paula’s manual Ford Fiesta Titanium. This personalization extends to supporting students with specific challenges, such as anxiety or dyslexia, ensuring that each pupil feels comfortable and empowered behind the wheel. Many students mention how Paula goes above and beyond, sometimes squeezing in extra pre-test sessions even when fully booked, just to ensure they are well-prepared.

Comprehensive Preparation and Thorough Guidance

Crowe Driving School ensures students are thoroughly prepared for the official driving test. The curriculum includes the mandatory 12 Essential Driver Training (EDT) lessons, along with additional sessions to reinforce skills and independent practice. Paula provides mock tests and pre-test reviews that closely mimic the actual exam conditions, helping students understand exactly what the testers are looking for. Students consistently praise her for being precise, honest about areas for improvement, and clear in her instructions. This thorough approach means that by the time of the test, many feel they already know Paula’s voice guiding them through the maneuvers, resulting in a smooth and confident test experience.
