Fantastic experience: Today I passed my driving test and I owe my success to my amazing driving instructor, Darragh! He is very professional and patiently reminds me when I make mistakes. His directions are clear and easy to understand. Darragh is a very patient coach with a kind heart. He communicates in an honest, direct manner which helped me to learn effectively. I really appreciate the experience of having Darragh as my teacher. I just wanted to share my gratitude for his excellent guidance. Finding a good instructor can be very difficult. He was actually my 6th instructor and I felt like there was a lot the others missed. - Jenny

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Paul to anyone. After failing my test the first time, he gave me the skills, knowledge and confidence to drive safely on the road, and also pass my test. He couldn’t have prepared me better for the test and knew exactly what types of questions the tester would ask. His approach to the learning process and driving as a whole is so much better than the couple of instructors that I worked with before. Couldn’t be happier to have chosen Paul.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test 2nd time in Killester (3 marks!) after 5 lessons and 3 pretests with Paul. Paul was practical, sensible and made me a safer driver. When I first started with him (after failing my first test badly) I was disheartened and no where near test ready but through Paul’s consistency, honesty and support (and as much practice between lessons using the new knowledge) within 3 months I was a totally different and better driver. Paul not only superbly prepared me to pass my test but moreover made me a better lifelong, safer and more responsible road user. He did not just tell me what I wanted to hear but instead he gave me the education, tools and knowledge to become a safe driver who is deserving of a full license. As a result of this when Paul would praise me I knew it was genuine and that gave me a true confidence. I am so grateful for him and that he took me on (even able to do my last pretest with very little notice) and that he taught me how to drive safely and properly. I will forever be grateful to his no nonsense, tough love approach to driving as it is a very serious thing and must be treated as such. I would happily recommend Paul to anyone that is serious about being a safe, responsible driver and willing to work hard for same.

Negative experience: I was looking to book a pretest last month because I saw the great reviews, then Darragh gave me Paul’s phone number, he rang me and asked me that what I wanted to achieving with a pretest? That I was not going to pass my test the first time and that he has never heard of anybody passing first time with a pretest… he was EXTREMELY RUDE, he told me that NONE of his learners have passed first time, that the average is the 4th or 5th time, and that I wouldn’t learned whatever I didn’t learn during my 12 lessons in 1 hour pretest and that I was wasting my time. I told him that I had my own car and that I was driving with my sponsor very frequently but my sponsor isn’t a driving instructor and I wanted to pass my test and do the correct things, but he didn’t care and kept saying the same. I felt so bad that day, I was almost crying and hopeless because his words went into my head and I couldn’t drive for a week. But thankfully an instructor from ISM contacted me and I booked a pretest, though my test was cancelled due to bad weather back then. However, I sat my driving test today, had a second pretest with the same instructor from ISM and PASSED FIRST TIME in KILLESTER. I really hope that Paul reads this and STOPS discouraging people from passing their driving test first time, ANYBODY CAN DO IT, or maybe not if Paul is your instructor, because his students pass in the 4th time, as he said.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Paul as an instructor. I did a few pretests with him and as a result I passed my test first time. He’s just a sound guy as well.
