Fantastic experience: Very good service, great instructor. After all the work done on the road and all the tips shared, going for the exam it feels like eating breakfast. Just too easy. I highly reccomend to all of those who want to start their journeys on 2 wheels.

Fantastic experience: Have been on dirt bikes before, but never on the roads. Booked my ibt with Joanna, what an experienced person she is in all aspects. She gave me the confidence in a few hours basically to ride on the roads of Naas town. I couldn’t recommend her enough!! Top tier training. And have to say, Joanna is a fantastic instructor with great experience and knowledge about motorcycles and the skills involved with handling one. Couldn't recommend these enough. After waiting six months and booking a test, I contacted Joanna again and she was the same way I remembered, helpful, knowledgeable, and she accommodated me in her schedule for a petest before my full test. And what do you know, I passed first time ever doing the test for my full A catagory. Long story short, learner permit to full licence in just 10 days over six months. Fantastic academy!

Fantastic experience: I had contacted Joanna for the IBT lessons last year. Unfortunately she was fully booked at the time, and I had to complete them elsewhere. However, she had promised me that she will find time for the pretest and she kept the promise indeed. I had heard good things about her as an instructor, but only when I did the pretest with her I realised how pathetic my IBT lessons at the other school were. I learned absolutely everything from her when it comes to the minute details while riding in Ireland. She was really thorough and stern with her instructions and made sure that I completed all the manoeuvres with perfection. The results are there to see, I not only passed the driver's test at the first attempt with only one negligible remark, but I knew halfway through during the test that I'm going to pass. That's the sort of confidence she gave me with only 2 pretest sessions of an hour each. I'd say she is the best instructor if you're looking to get your motorcycle licence. Thanks Joanna!!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't speak anymore highly of Joanna she is one of a kind and a super instructor. I done my IBT with her and had fun also as learning for the couple of days.. she likes to give out a little if you don't listin but whatever she does works . I done my IBT in August 2022 and only sat my full test today with a couple hour lesson before hand , If you listin to Joanna you will pass what a women ❤️

John, who was my colleague on the two day course, and I both remarked on how much we learned in such a short time. I went from zero knowledge on how to ride a bike to confidently navigating city traffic on a 600cc bike in 2 days, and it was all thanks to her brilliant teaching skills. Fantastic experience: Joanna from MotorBike Academy is an absolutely fantastic teacher. With little previous riding experience she got me riding 600cc motorbike. We did two full days of on-bike exercises and class based tuition. Staring on 125cc on first day, doing starting stopping, slow speed maneuvers (slalom, 8-figure, etc), we covered cross roads, roundabouts, lane position... basically everything you need to pass full test. On the second day we got onto bigger bikes, got to repeat all the exercises and then we actually got to ride on the road. So if you're very new to riding or more experienced and just want to get your IBT - go for it. It's a blast! And Joanna is a Legend! Thanks again for being so patient :)

Fantastic experience: I completed my category A motorcycle training with Joanna today. I had previous experience riding scooters, but needed to complete the IBT to validate my Learner Permit for riding motorcycles. Joanna is a really skilled trainer who has a keen and focused eye. She observed my riding, provided so many important tips to improve my riding, and imparted all the RSA legal requirements as well as her years of real life experience with me over the course of two full days. Honestly, I know Joanna goes above and beyond the expectation of the RSA Curriculum and it is certainly not a “box ticking exercise”. She wants her students to have the best opportunity of riding safely and enjoyably when they leave her academy. Her approach is super friendly and firm, engaging and empowering. Joanna manages to get that balance just right to make the whole experience a pleasure. Joanna focuses on riding safe, rather than getting on a bike and showing off, which is often what novice riders like to do. Experienced riders know their skills, and their limits, and focus on staying safe while enjoying the ride to the fullest. Joanna implemented and imparted this philosophy really well both in the compound and while we were out riding on public roads. The bikes, safety/comms equipment, location and facilities used throughout the course of the IBT are of the highest standard. If you’re looking to complete or refresh your IBT Modules, I can’t recommend Joanna and her Motorbike Academy enough. From learning how to manoeuvre at slow speeds to riding around the town through traffic, she had us nipping around confidently in no time. I did my pre-test lessons with Jo and I couldn't have asked for a more calm, encouraging, positive and knowledgeable instructor. Fantastic experience: Joana is a rare type of person who does not quit learning. She's a specialist not only does she update her knowledge every 2 years she continues to do it everyday through practice and countless books on motorcycles in her office. As a result ,in the course of 2 days i have learned everything i need to start riding in the streets without being scared of any situations. Fantastic experience: Due to my troubled relationship with the RSA, I found myself in the unfortunate situation that my IBT was expired and I had to do that again. Luckily, I was recommended Joanna and her Motorbike Academy; as someone who has experienced different instructors around Dublin, let me tell you this: she's the best in the business! Not only you will learn something new, even if it's your 2nd IBT, you'll get the most sound suggestions as to how to get your best shot at the test, and on top of it you'll also have fun. Between all instructors I've met, Joanna is most down-to-earth, patient and passionate about her job, and bikes in general.

Having originally completed my IBT with the Motorbike Academy back in February I recently completed further training with Joanna in the form of three practice tests. These practice tests were Invaluable to consolidate my previous training and iron out any bad habits which i had picked up when out on my own. Once again Joanna displayed her patience and skill and was a firm and strict hand when it was needed as well as being encouraging, insightful and empowering. Fantastic experience: I did my IBT 1 day refresher course back end of 2022 and luckily my test date worked out to be the first day Joanna was back after Christmas break. A few hours guidance (especially with roundabouts) and into the test and passed with flying colours. Delighted. Joanna is a very patient but firm instructor, which is what you need. Laughs were had a coffee break so you could relax before heading on again. 100% recommend motorbike academy. Compared to my previous experience initially doing my IBT with another instructor in 2018 where I learnt absolutely zero about actually passing the test, this was a very refreshing and educational experience. Fantastic experience: I had been riding bikes for years but let my license run out, so i had to do an IBT course. I am so happy i went to Joanna, i have never enjoyed myself so much on a course. Joanna is an amazing instructor, with a very high knowledge of bike riding, professional, patient ,confident, experienced and 100% safety orientated. So if your only starting out on bikes or have ridden like myself for years and want to get back in the saddle this is the place to go, i have no hesitation in recommending Joanna and the Motorbike Academy. Why go anywhere else??

Fantastic experience: I have lessons with a few instructors and I can say that Motorbike Academy has been my best experience and where I have learnt the most. The instructor Joanna went through all the IBT modules explaining everything with clarity and making sure we understood the training well. The practical lessons were quite enjoyable and insightful, she went the extra mile making us practice things like counterbalancing, as well as proper road positioning, lane discipline and more. I would highly recommend Motorbike Academy to anybody interested in taking motorcycle lessons.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were looking for an ITB motorbike instructor and this lovely lad from the gym recommended Joanna in Kill. I'm very grateful and thankful to that guy who suggested her. Joanna is the most amazing and relaxed instructor anyone can ask for. She is so passionate at what she does and I'm sure you wouldn't regret it. I would highly highly recommend her if you want to learn riding the right and fun way. Both of us had the most amazing 2 days of learning and riding with Joanna.

Fantastic experience: Having a Great coach, teacher, or mentor in any craft is always challenging. Because there are few out there... who love what they do, know a hell of a lot, and can transfer the knowledge to the newbie. I can guarantee, Joanna is The One. Her ability to explain complex things and find a way to deliver knowledge and experience is phenomenal. During this 2-day training, you will receive plenty of joy, challenge some muscles (brain and the rest) and revisit "road safety" understanding as such. Personally coming from 10+ years riding experience for renewal, stuck in bad habits, Joanna had me on the right path straight away..
